Thank you for your support and / or patronage throughout 2017. We've had another busy year and are looking forward to seeing you in 2018.

We trust you will enjoy perusing our brochure which features 12 brand new tours, with 7 new tours for 2018 that we have had in the past, but some time ago. We have also revitalised many of our already existing tours. Please contact our office for details of our Christmas and New Year Tours, which will of course be on offer again in 2018. This guide to our tour schedule lists some of the highlights of each tour. We have included all of the prices available at the time of printing this brochure. Any prices not listed here, will be in the detailed individual itineraries.

As always our fares include:

Chauffeured Home Pick up from and to your door - Greater Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, Bendigo and Castlemaine, Phillip Island and some areas of Gippsland including Warragul. Most morning teas and lunches. We have been listening to your feedback and now offer Two course dinners with proper choices instead of 3. Full cooked and continental breakfasts each morning. Good Quality ensuite motel, resort and hotel accommodation. Carefully planned, comprehensive yet relaxed pace itineraries. Luxury coach travel by our 5 star coaches equipped with 2 doors, seat-belts and rest-room. Fully inclusive prices are per person twin share and include GST. We will be holding Information Days in October for some of our overseas tours for next year. Laurie O'Shannessy 1933 - 2016

A Tribute to Laurie With a love of Australia, an appreciation of its first peoples, and a thirst for travel, Laurie and Margaret pioneered the O’Shannessy family travel business in the early 1980’s. Laurie and Margaret would spend many a summer travelling across Australia, researching and curating wonderful tour itineraries for their fellow travellers.

In early days the kitchen trailer followed the Denning coach all around our great country. Folk still reminisce about the delicious meals Margaret would produce from the kitchen trailer – bacon and eggs for breakfasts, fruit cake for morning teas, cold meats and salads for lunches and even ham steaks and pineapple for dinners – for 40 or more people in some of Australia’s most remote regions. Looking after passengers was no doubt easier, sometimes, than keeping Laurie in line. Laurie was a student of Australian history, and loved to share his passion and knowledge with his passengers.

Margaret and Laurie had a special love of outback Australia, and before their retirement enjoyed specialised outback tours with small groups of 12-15 people in their customised small coach. In their retirement, Laurie and Margaret travelled extensively overseas and continued to explore the outback. Laurie passed away on 16 December 2016.
