6 Camp Roxy- Camp Roxy is a performing arts camp sta�ed by actors, musicians and teachers. Students will learn about dancing, music, arts and crafts and acting. At the end of each week, the students will present a production to the community on the last Friday. 918-684-6366 [email protected]
7 Rougher Summer Pride- Rougher Summer Pride o�ers academic, physical and character-building activities for students in grades 3-12, giving them support and supervision during the summer. �e program gives students a safe and caring environment in which to continue academic learning and physical wellness activities, minimizing the loss of learning. 9 Learn, Create, Share @ MPL- Muskogee Public Library o�ers a variety of free hands on learning classes to youth in grades 1-12. Courses include maker camp, video game coding, digital video and digital photography. 918-682-6657 [email protected]
10 Youth Volunteer Corps Summer of Service- Youth Volunteer Corps provides opportunities for youth in grades 7-12. �e youth select projects they are interested in participating in that serve community needs. [email protected]
11 Smart School- Provides an accelerated, educational experience designed to enrich students academically and to develop character in the lives of young people. 13 Whistle While You Work- Youth who are interested in expanding their artistic skills as painters and visual artists are encouraged to sign up for this camp. [email protected]
14 Artist Camp- Join Muskogee youth as they explore di�erent mediums of visual arts in a classroom setting. �ere are four di�erent classes going on each day throughout the month of June. 16 Band Pride-�e focus of the camp is on teaching music fundamentals and preparing students to join the high school band. Community Treasures Summer CampCommunity Treasures provides a safe environment for children during the afternoon hours and serves as an opportunity for kids to learn valuable life skills. Each week the camp will have a di�erent theme to help students learn about their community and the importance of being a good citizen. �emes include arts, agriculture and science, nutrition, history, community connections, sports and games, safety, and a �nal celebration week. Children can participate in the entire 8-week program or select the weeks they prefer to participate.

2018 SummerProject Transformation
Project Transformation is an 8-week summer literacy camp open to Muskogee children entering grades 1-5. Campers must be eligible for free/reduced lunch and need help with reading. Mornings start with breakfast followed by opening warmup session with values lessons. Starting around 10 am campers rotate through 30 minutes sessions in reading, art, recreation and S.T.E.M. At noon, free lunch is provided by MPS School Nutrtition Center. Afternoon activities include library visits, �eld trips, park activities, guest speakers and special enrichment and cultural activities. Two parent nights are scheduled to encourage parent participation, showcase camper activities.
$5 Breakfast, Lunch & snack Entering Grades 1-5 Must be eligible for free & reduced lunch AND need help with reading.

Learn - Create - Share @ Muskogee Public LibraryMuskogee Public Library o�ers a variety of free hands on learning classes to youth in grades 1-12. �e Maker camp lets youth create projects using 3D printing, coding and die-cutting. Daily challenges include making music, engineering towers, games and more. Video Game Coding lets youth create their own video game using simple and easy coding software with daily discussions of plaing video games. Digital Photography teaches youth to explore taking photos using digital photography through daily themes. Digital Video camp lets youth write, �lm, and edit their own short digital videos with other youth.

Band PrideBand Pride partners with Muskogee Public Schools to help preevent summer learning loss and teaches advanced skills for middle school and freshmen students. �e program also provides opportunities for high school students to continue their musical instruction throughout the summer months. �e focus of the camp is on teaching music fundamentals and preparing students for both the middle school and high school band experience. Band Pride teaches all students to become responsible citizens and develop character and leadership skills. Students learn the basics of being on time, not giving up, staying consistent and being proactive.
