Intheeventofthetripbeingcancelled,anymoneysrefundedtotheschoolwillbedividedproportionallyamongstparticipants.Forexample,iftheschoolreceiveda70%refund,eachparticipantwouldreceivea70%refund.Mostimportantly,iftheschooldoesnotreceivearefundfromourvendors,itwillnotbepossibletoprovideanyrefundtofamilies.Wecertainlyhopethisisnotasituationweencounter,butwanteverybodytobepreparedfortheworstcasescenario.Ifaparticipantchoosestowithdrawfromthetripafterapaymenthasbeenmade,anymoneyalreadypaidis non-refundable. This is because the school is not refunded money by our travel agency in thesecircumstances.Tosecurethelowestprice,manyitemsarebookedandpaidforuptosixmonthsinadvance.Ifaparticipantisthirtyormoredaysbehindonapayment,wereservetherighttoconsidertheparticipantwithdrawnfromthetripunlesspriorarrangementsforalatepaymenthavealreadybeenmade.Moneyisnot refundable in thiscircumstance.Forexample, ifwehavealreadyused themoneysubmitted in theparticipant’s firstpaymenttopayfor lodging,butanexcessively latesecondpaymentpreventsusfromsecuringtheparticipantaplaneticketonthegroupflight,wecannotlettheparticipanttravelwithusaswewouldnotbeabletoprovidesupervisionontheflightnorwouldwehavetheresourcestoreimbursetheparticipantforlodgingwehavealreadypaidfor.Ifaparticipantisbannedfromattendingthistripforanacademic/disciplinaryreasonorasaresultofanyotherformofadministrativeaction,anymoneyalreadypaidisnon-refundable.WhathappensifPWCSisclosedforweatherconditionsonthedaywedepart?PWCSdoesnotallowtripdeparturesifschoolsareclosed“CODERED”.Ifschoolsareclosed“CODEGREEN”,tripsareconsideredonacasebycasebasis.Ifourtripwascancelledasaresultofschoolclosure,itwouldmostlikelyyieldasituationwhererefundswouldnotbepossibleasourvendorsarepaidinadvancetosecurethelowestpossiblerate.Forexample,bybookingourhotelassoonaspossibleusinganon-refundablerate,wesavecountlessdollars.It ismyhopethattheselecteddaterange(March21st-25th)achievesacompromisethatminimizesthechancesweatherwillimpactourtripwhileavoidinginterferingwithSOLandAPtestpreparations.Isfinancialassistanceavailableforfamilieswhomayneedit?ThetriptoLosAngelesis,ofcourse,abigexpense.Abigtripisbeingofferedthisyearsimplybecausearelatively large quantity of families expressed an interest.Many older students haveworked over thesummerorareworkingduringtheschoolyeartosaveupforamajortravelexpensesuchasthisone.Itiscertainlynotexpectedthateverystudentwillbeabletoparticipate.Inordertoofferamoreaffordabletripoptionto interestedfamilies,wearealsoplanningadaytriptoBuschGardensthisyeartoperforminacompetitionandenjoythethemepark.Thistripwilllikelybeinlate
