A Word to Consider
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the
peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7. Just saying!
I have numerous events to mention. First allow me to say a BIG THANKS
to Bro. Johnny Anderson for putting together the Adult Choir Festival
and to Ozark Baptist for hosting it. We had a wonderful time of worship,
to God be the glory! Be sure to let the folks know when something min-
isters to you!
We have several mission trips scheduled for this year. There will be an
interest and information meeting concerning those on March 12. Please
attend so we can begin to nail down more specifics. See elsewhere in
this newsletter for more details.
We are putting together a Disaster Relief Team. The interest/
informational meeting will be March 12 at 6:30pm in the DBA office.
Our next Ministry Center Store Volunteer appreciation luncheon is
March 14. If you have never volunteered to work in the store and think
you might be interested, call us and attend this luncheon for more infor-
mation. We have a lot of fun and minister to a lot of folks but we could
NOT do it without the help of our volunteers! Come and check it out!
Mrs. Robin and I have visited in every church and have attended almost
every service of each of our churches. I am grateful that our pastors
have allowed me to preach in our churches! It is a joy to serve our Lord
through the DBA! I challenge you to be faithful in serving our Lord
through your church and through your association. Call me if I can help.
Because of Jesus,
Love,
Bro. Jim & Mrs. Robin
DBA Missions Development News…
Matthew 5:16 says “In the same way, let your light shine before men so
they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in Heaven.”
As an Association we have several opportunities to do just that. We
would like you to prayerfully consider asking God how He wants you to
shine though you. It might be here in the county, state, the U.S., or even
going to a foreign country, but God wants us all to use the time, re-
sources, and talents that He has blessed us with.
Also, if there is a project or place God has laid on your heart or ideas
where we can fulfill the Great Commission, please let us know.
Thank you,
Bo DeLoney
