DAY 2 VENICE – POSTOJNA – BLED This morning we travel to Sloveniaand discover its highlights including Postojna, one of Europe’s largest cavesystems. DAY 3 BLED / JULIAN ALPS We discover Slovenia’s breathtaking alpineregion as we travel to stunning Lake Bohinj for a cable car ride to the top ofMt Vogel with its incredible vistas. DAY 4 BLED – LJUBLJANA – ZAGREB Today we uncover Slovenia’s livelycapital Ljubljana on a guided walk through its baroque Old Town. We thencross the border and travel to the Croatian capital, Zagreb to check in at HotelDubrovnik (4 star). After settling in to our rooms we will join our guide for awalking tour featuring the historic Upper Town and Zagreb Cathedral. (B, D)
DAY 5 ZAGREB – BALE – BUZET We continue our journey to enchantingIstria, which still retains its Venetian heritage, to explore its lesser known inlandregion of delightful medieval hilltop villages. Our guide will take us for a truetaste of the region to visit a small family-owned olive oil factory and samplelocally produced oils in the charming village of Bale. Continue your adventureseeing delightful towns full of old charm to arrive at quaint Buzet, known asthe city of truffles. Check in at the boutique Hotel Vela Vrata (4 star). (B, L)
DAY 6 BUZET / ISTRIAN PENINSULA Experience Istria's stunning coast aswe explore the picturesque fishing village of Rovinj and then continue to Pulato see its ancient amphitheatre towering over the town's centre. (B, L)

DAY 9 CRUISE: SPLIT – BRAC – HVARWith our guide we will explore Split’shistoric centre built around the 4th century Diocletian’s Palace. We will thenmeet our captain and crew as we embark on a private charter aboard the deluxeMS Equator / MS San Antonio through the stunning Dalmatian Islands. We setsail for beautiful Bol on the Island of Brac, for a swim at the famous GoldenHorn beach. We arrive this evening in Hvar’s ancient port of Stari Grad. (B, L)
DAY 10 CRUISE: HVAR Our Hvar experience continues with an in-depthintroduction to island life on one of the world’s most stunning islands. Weexplore small fishing villages, see vineyard-covered hills, olive groves andundulating fields of rosemary and lavender (seasonal), followed by atraditional peka lunch including wine tasting at a local konoba (traditionaltavern). DAY 2 CRUISE: DUBROVNIK – SIPAN This morning a walking tour of Dubrovnik’sspectacular Old Town before departing on our cruise adventure to Sipan, famousfor its wine and delightful laid-back ambiance. (B, L)
DAY 3 CRUISE: SIPAN – MLJET – KORCULA A short cruise away is the islandof Mljet. We discover the unspoilt beauty of the National Park and its two uniquesalt water lakes and medieval monastery before continuing to Korcula and awalking tour of this enchanting town. (B, L)
DAY 4 CRUISE: KORCULA – VIS This morning we will cruise to beautiful Vis,which until the late 80’s was closed to tourism and served as a military zone forthe Yugoslav army. The island’s authenticity is still evident as we explore VisTown’s waterfront. (B, L)
DAY 5 CRUISE: VIS - BISEVO - HVARWe cruise this morning to Bisevo Island’sBlue Cave, one of the most unique natural phenomena in the world. DAY 6 CRUISE: HVAR We begin today with a cruise along this beautiful islandtowards the ancient port of Stari Grad. Experience the true nature of the Adriaticas we stop for swims in secluded bays and coves before continuing ourexploration of Hvar by coach. We will take an excursion to Hvar’s small fishingvillages to get a glimpse of traditional island life, vineyard-covered hills, olivegroves and undulating rosemary and lavender fields (seasonal). DAY 6 CRUISE: SPLIT – BRAC – HVARWith our guide we will explore Split’shistoric centre built around the 4th century Diocletian’s Palace. We will thenmeet our captain and crew as we embark on a private charter aboard the deluxeMS Equator / MS San Antonio through the stunning Dalmatian Islands. We set
sail for beautiful Bol on the Island of Brac, for a swim at the famous GoldenHorn beach. We arrive this evening in Hvar’s ancient port of Stari Grad. (B, L)
DAY 7 CRUISE: HVAR Our Hvar experience continues with an in-depthintroduction to island life on one of the world’s most stunning islands. Weexplore small fishing villages, see vineyard-covered hills, olive groves andundulating fields of rosemary and lavender (seasonal), followed by atraditional peka lunch including wine tasting at a local konoba (traditionaltavern). DAY 8 CRUISE: HVAR – BISEVO – VIS We cruise to Bisevo Island’sincredible Blue Cave, one of the most unique natural phenomena. Onlyrecently opened to the public, its silvery blue waters are a must–see. Wecontinue our cruise with stops for a refreshing swim in the warm waters ofthe Adriatic to beautiful Vis Island. DAY 1 SPLIT – BRAC Welcome to Split! Embarkation is from 11.00am. Meet yourfellow travellers at a welcome lunch on board as you cruise to the island of Brac. DAY 2 BRAC Discover more of Brac Island today as you cycle past fig trees, pineforests and olive groves on your way to the little shepherd’s village of Gazul. CRUISE CANCELLATIONGUARANTEED CRUISES ON SMALL SHIPS BEINGCONSTRUCTED FOR THE 2018 SEASON – Where acruise is offered on a vessel currently underconstruction for the 2018 season it is the intention ofBeyond Travel and its principals to supply the cruise onthe vessel as advertised. In the unlikely event that thecruise is cancelled due to issues surrounding theconstruction of the new vessel or otherwise out of thereasonable control of Beyond Travel, every passengerwho has paid either a deposit or full payment will beoffered a suitable alternative or Beyond Travel shallrefund the full amount of the fare received.
SHIP & ITINERARY CHANGESBeyond Travel and its principals will do everythingpossible to make sure your holiday goes according toplan; however, sometimes an unforeseen event occursto cause changes to itinerary or vessel. Beyond Travelwill notify you of these changes as soon as possible.
MOORINGMany of Croatia’s historic harbours, especially on theislands, are small and cruising in Croatia has grown inpopularity over the past ten years. As such it is notunusual for two or more ships to moor alongside eachother at a berth, particularly in busy ports wheremooring spaces are at a premium. On occasion, yourcruise ship may be moored alongside a number of othervessels when embarking on disembarking. The viewfrom your cabin window may also be blocked whenthere is another ship alongside.

PASSPORTS & VISASAustralian and New Zealand citizens must hold acurrent passport which must be valid for at least sixmonths after your entry into a foreign country. It is theresponsibility of the individual to obtain the requiredvisas prior to departure. Failure to do so which resultsin the need to cancel travel arrangements will incurnormal cancellation penalties.
