What actually is vinyl?

Click vinyl floors belong to the group of multilayer elastic floor coverings. This means that the floor is made up of several individual layers, which are connected to a floorboard during production. The construction of a multi-layered floor covering significantly determines its perfor-mance characteristics. As a rule, different degrees of elasticity can be produced from the semi-rigid sup-port to the fully elastic floorboard.

Plasticizers

Plasticizers have been discredited as harmful to health in the past. Our CHECK Vinyl contains

plasticizers (DOTP), which are also used in infusion tubes or commer-cially available PET bottles. We can therefore call our vinyl floors phthalate free.

These floors with a thickness of 4.2 mm impress with a variety of decors in oak, pine, chestnut and beech look. With a wear layer of 0.3 mm, they are ideal for renovations in heavily used living areas to areas with light commercial use.

Every flooring has advantages as well as disad-vantages. Therefore, it always depends on the circumstances at the installation site.

For example, an elastic floor covering with a click system may have problems with uneven sur- faces. There, a treatment of the existing subfloor would be necessary. Also, elastic floor coverings can not be installed under all climatic conditions. Behind floor-to-ceiling windows or even conserva- tories, temperatures as high as these can affect the pull-out strength of the panels in the click connection.

As a result, we have developed a product that is adjusted to all eventualities. CHECK one consists of a harder backing, which strictly speaking is no longer elastic base. With the components in the product but still a vinyl floor.

A vinyl of the next generation and for us a great advancement of the big CHECK vinyl assortment!

CHECK one is different...

CHECK one offers the general advan-tages of click vinyl floors even more. For example, the rigid vinyl backing on which the decor is applied has some properties that make the prod-uct less complicated. The location of the installation is no longer as important as with completely elastic floor coverings.

Thanks to the innova- tive manufacturing pro-cess, the backing plate does not require the

addition of plasticizers. Plasticizers do not have to be bad for humans (see CHECK Vinyl). But with CHECK one, you do not need to read the fine print to see whether the plasti-cizer used is good or bad. There are simply no plasticizers used.

at the front, and then clicked in again around the next row on the long side. This is done by angling the long side under slight pressure until it clicks into place.

Innovation-ClickWith this click system, each board can be laid individually. The long side is bent inwards, then the

panel is lowered and the overlapping end faces are connected by tapping with a rubber hammer, so that the surface is level. The click connection is a particularly stable connection, since it is not only inserted or pressed against other „drop-down“ connections, but

locked in three positions in the ton-gue and groove by being hammered in.1

Impact and footfall sound isulations

EQUIPPED is the accessory brand we recommend for our products. High quality and functionality are guaran-teed. Underlay or impact sound insu-lation is a sensitive topic, especially with click vinyl floors. Due to the low construction heights of the product, the click connection (tongue and groove) is of course also correspondingly thin. If too soft sound insulation is used or if the underbody cushions too much, it will not be good for the stability of the connection. Although the harder backing of CHECK one forgives more, the quality of the base should still be considered. All documents that have at least a CS value (compressive load) of> 100 kPa (equivalent to 10 t / m²) can be used with CHECK one. All under- lay shown on the right comply with this information.

A beautiful floor is only perfect if the connection to the walls is right. This way, you get a trim-coordinated strip for each vinyl floor, which allows you to remove a cable behind it and with the option of attaching it to the wall with a clip system.

In addition, unsightly bumps, where two bars mounted side by side meet, can be avoided by using connectors. It is also recommended to install EQUIP-PED accessories in interior or exterior corners. You save yourself the miter sawing. Rounded off by end caps on protrusions or door frames, the range offers everything needed to complete the installation.
