GRIP CAREWinn Grips are made from an advanced polymer. Polymer is not rubber. Therefore, Winn Grips should be treated and cared for in a different manner.

CLEANING A WINN GRIPBecause Winn Grips have absorbent properties, they may eventually soil from dirt and perspiration from your golf glove and hands. This does not affect the performance of the grip.

To clean a Winn Grip, apply a small amount of water to a soft towel and gently rub the grips. Do not saturate the towel. NEVER use a brush and soapy water to clean a Winn Grip because it will damage the top surface and destroy the tackiness and slip-resistance of the grip.

DO NOT immerse Winn Grips in a bucket of water to clean them. This will saturate the underlying layer of the grip and may ruin the grip.

GRIP CARE IN WET WEATHERWhen playing in wet weather, do your best to keep your grips dry. If your grips do get wet, use a soft, dry towel to pat them dry. NEVER rub a Winn Grip vigorously with a towel! This will damage the top surface, thereby undermining the tackiness and slip-resistance of the grip.

BUILDING UP A WINN GRIP

Winn’s Advanced Vertical Seam (AVS) grips can be built up by adding wraps of tape to the shaft. One wrap of tape will increase the grip size by 1/64”, two wraps by 1/32”, etc. Do not exceed four wraps of tape. Building up is suitable for AVS models only. We do not advise building up our wrap style grips as this can cause the spiral seam to split.
