2018 ANNUAL REPORT OF THE CHURCHES

Florida Baptist churches for your faithfulness and fruitfulness in

ministry. Florida Baptist churches continue to be leaders in the

Southern Baptist Convention in every measurable area of ministry.

This Annual Report is a collection of data that tells the story of

the blessing of God upon our churches. Every number represents

a life that was touched and changed to glory of the Lord.

The 2018 story reflects the obedience of God’s people to God’s calling in our vineyard of ministry called Florida.

I encourage you to continue to #BeTheSpark through your

giving through the Cooperative Program to #ReachFlorida and

#ReachTheWorld! Thank you for your generosity in Kingdom

giving through the Cooperative Program.

I trust that this information will encourage you in ministry.

We clearly understand through this Annual Report that we need

each other and that we are better together. The Florida Baptist

Convention exists to serve the churches in our state. My prayer is

that God would continue blessing you as you fulfill your calling in

Christ! It is a privilege to be ‘Right Beside You.’

We are mindful that we cannot rest on past accomplishments.

We must continue pressing forward with a passion for Jesus Christ

and compassion for our neighbors.

We are together writing the 2019 narrative of ministry across Florida.

My prayer is that the story of 2019 will be the greatest ever to the

glory of Jesus Christ.

It is the privilege of the Florida Baptist Convention to be

‘Right Beside You’ as we seek to reach Florida and beyond for Christ!

Dr. Tommy GreenExecutive Director-Treasurer

THE CHALLENGE OF MINISTRY IN OUR MISSION FIELD

OF FLORIDA IS GREAT.

YOU ARE THE SPARK

TO UNLEASH THE RESOURCES TO TOUCH THE WORLD WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
