1. IQAC approved the proposals of national level conference in commerce & State level workshop in botany. It also approved
institute level workshops in the academic year 2018-19.
2. This unit also approved the proposal of T. Y. B.Sc. (Physics), F.Y. B. A. Political Science & History, M.A Economics, M.A.
Psychology, M. Sc. Analytical Chemistry, M.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc. Animation & BCA ( Science)
3. IQAC unit of our college has sanctioned various curricular, extracurricular and extension programmes organized by different
committees.
4. IQAC initiated for the promotion of research work in various subjects.
5. IQAC approved the proposal of construction of 3 new classrooms.
6. IQAC approved the proposal to organize the District level research competition- Avishkar in collaboration with SPPU, Pune
7. IQAC approved the proposal of Rooftop Solar System installation funded by planning & development department SPPU,Pune.
8. IQAC approved the proposal of purchase of sports equipments funded by planning & development department SPPU,Pune.
9. IQAC approved the proposal of purchase of lab equipments ( Computers, Printers& Scanner, Sound System)

AQAR of 2018-19 was placed in front of Management body of our college. They verified the
entire data filled in the prescribed form. After verification, they give few instructions with
reference to State level trekking camp. Later on, we rectified it as per the suggestions given
by the Management Body. Then, it was sanctioned by the Management body.

(i) Flexibility of the Curriculum: CBCS/Core/Elective option / Open options
Flexibility:
The academic flexibility is provided to the students at the entry point as well as during the
programme. At entry level, students can choose between programs at UG and PG level. All the
programs offer core subjects as well as elective options. In some of the programs, students can opt
for specialization under the framework of the university
Options for the courses:
College offers both academic and professional courses like B.A.(English, Economics and
Geography), B.Com, BBA, BBA (CA), B.Sc. (Chemistry, Microbiology & Zoology) at UG

Our teachers have an interaction with the student in the class. With the help of this interaction the teaching
and learning process is made easier. Some important concepts are cleared with interaction method.
Power point Presentation (PPT) is used in case of such topics which are obscured, even, for the purpose of
animation it often used.

How does IQAC Contribute/Monitor/Evaluate the Teaching & Learning processes:
Instructing teachers to regularly maintain and submit the teaching plans of all
subjects.
Teachers are motivated to make maximum use of ICT infrastructure.
Monitoring actual teaching practices.
Monitoring students’ performance by conducting regular text, tutorials etc.
Setting up different committees to monitor and to adopt timely measures for
performance improvement. The attendance committee constantly monitors the
attendance of students.
The Teacher- Parent Meeting plays the crucial role of enhancing active
Interface between student and teacher.

1. IQAC unit always promotes and motivates for the research culture among students and teachers.
2. IQAC creates research climate by organizing workshops, seminars and conferences.
4. IQAC conducted various meeting for the promotion of research. We have maintained the minutes of
meetings in IQAC register.
Weak student are identified for remedial teaching and they are provided with different

Department of BBA(CA) gives training to the students and teachers. The computer lab is made free for access
to our students. Internet access is made available free of charge for them. Softwares are updated whenever it is
necessary.
In the opening of academic year Principal of our college delivers a faculty-wise lecture. In this lecture he gives
information about student support facilities in which they are told the details of the programmes and activities
implemented throughout the academic year.
We have made class-wise whatsapp group male & female students and teachers. It helps us to communicate
our students in day to day activities. We also upload necessary information on the portal of college website.
The stakeholders can understand regarding programmes and activities implemented in the college campus and
outside the campus.
IQAC unit of our college decided to provide financial support & concession in academic fees to students
who have shown extraordinary performance in sports.
Earn and learn scheme is made available for the economically weak students of our college. Girl students are
given opportunity to participate in this scheme.
IQAC unit of our college encouraged to conduct sport intramural competitions.
IQAC unit encourages to conduct co-curricular such as programmes conducted under Arts, Commerce and
Science association and extra-curricular activities such as annual cultural activities
NSS facilities are made available for the students. In these two unit girl students also actively participate and
their performance is very satisfactory.
Under Student Development Department of college various activities are conducted for overall personality
development of students.

1. Time to time seminars, projects, assignments are given to students and evaluated.
2. Various guest lectures and seminars are organized for students regarding career guidance and future
opportunities as well as regarding competitive examinations.
3. Yearly alumni meets are organized by the institute to track the progression.
4. Last year UG students are encouraged to take admission for higher education.
5. Meritorious students were given prizes on annual prize distribution day.
1. Competitive Exam Cell is active and dynamic in our college. This cell manages all kinds of activities for
the students throughout year. It gives coaching to our students by organizing lectures of such persons who
have successfully made an attempt of competitive exams.
2. It helps our students in boosting an intellectual level of students who are interested in competitive exams.
3. Reference Books , Text books, news papers, research journals and magazines are kept in this cell for the
study.

College provides counseling for the students. Issues like domestic conflicts, exam stress, and social media are
handled with them. Students are also given guidance by the faculty and resource persons. Workshops on
personality development and communication skills are arranged for students.
Soft skill programme is conducted for UG students.
Mentor and mentee programme is implemented .
1. Girl students were motivated for the active participation in State level Trekking Camp and NSS activities.
They responded well by participating in state level trekking camp at Ratangad, Kalsubai-Harischandragad
Wildlife Sanctuary.
2. Girls are encouraged to participate in Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan.
3. Disaster management training is given to girls.
4. Women hygiene and cleaning awareness training is given to girls every year.
5. Anti women Harassment Cell is proactive in college.
6. Grievance and redressal cell is proactive in college.

The college conducts the examinations as per the university rules and regulations.
80-20 pattern: University has introduced internal assessment of 20% and external exam of 80%
marks at UG level for theory and practical examinations.
Bar code and Holocraft sticker: Sticking of bar code and holocraft stickers on the answer
sheets has been introduced.
Online delivery of question papers from university: The university examination unit sets the
question papers for all the examinations are delivered to different colleges online. A computer,
internet and heavy duty printer with backup power supply are provided with the necessary
skilled staff to the CEO office.
Online entry of marks: Online entry of internal, term end and practical examination mark has
been started by the university.
Verification and revaluation process: Availability of photocopies of the answer books to the
students to review the result was started for the revaluation process. After receiving the
photocopy, the revaluation form is to be filled up within ten days. These forms are filled up by
the students online and the hardcopy is submitted to the college.
First year UG examination: An internal senior supervisor is appointed to conduct the first year
university examinations. College conducts CAP and the mark lists are issued as per the
university rules.
PG examination: For PG students credit based grade system is applicable from the academic
year 2013-2014. According to the direction given by the university, college has introduced
continuous evaluation program for PG students with 50% internal (continuous) assessment and
50% by the university.
IQAC enhance research environment among college teachers and students by providing
research funds to participate and paper publications in seminars, workshops and conferences.

S. P. Pune University has introduced Barcode system for the answer papers. S. P. Pune
University, Pune has introduced online system of question papers. Our exam section
downloads that particular question paper before half an hour of actual exam time. The internet
facility and Xerox machine are made available in exam section.
We have not applied for the autonomy of our college.
We are always in communication with our alumni. We often invite them for the function Like
annual cultural programme and prize distribution. In such occasions we have a dialogue with

Our administrative staff is given opportunity for attending various workshops.
We have converted our college campus into greenery by planting trees at different places.
