Light-EMSFor loads up to 250 kg

New Development

We have arranged the drive wheels of our Light-EMS

200-2 according to the inside drive principal. The wheels

don’t drive on top of the rail like with a conventional

C1–System, the wheels drive inside the rail.

That enables us to mount the rail much closer to the

steelwork, which means that the overall height of the

system is reduced significantly.

With vertical and horizontal curves, 2-way, 3-way and turn

switches, transverse conveyors and lifters, the system

can be configured according to your specifications.

If you want to install an EMS in an older building with space restrictions or if you are looking for a highly efficient and slim system for loads up to 250 kg (550 lbs) then the AFT-Group has exactly what you need:The new “Light–EMS 200-2”. You are not only saving space, but also purcha-se and operational costs. If you want to convey light loads, this system has many advantages compared to the classic C1–rail.

“Challenge us!We have the right solution for your conveying requirements.”

Heiko Hofmann, CEO AFT-Group

Conveying, automated storage, palletising, lifting, lowering, tilting and positioning. This is the

world in which the AFT Group is active, but we understand conveyance is more than just a

physical process. Our solutions are tailor-made to enhance your business processes. We ad-

opt a dynamic and flexible approach to design, allowing us to address different requirements

in different environments.

XX Because of the compact overall height of the sys-tem, light goods can be transported in conveying levels with restricted heights.

XX The compact, lightweight design makes main-tenance much easier.

XX Long goods can be stacked diagonally in a space saving manner in storage sections of the EMS.

XX The lightweight design of the trolleys reduces energy consumption and wear.

AFTeco: The Future Drive Technology

Advantages of AFTeco drive:XX Almost constant torque over the entire speed range:

very efficient at high speeds and but also very low

speeds possible

XX High effective power and compact gearless motors

XX Easier maintenance because of smaller compact design

XX Mixed operations in systems with conventional tech-

nology possible

XX Reduction of operating costs due to lower energy

consumption and lower maintenance costs

AFTeco is our response to the demand for more greener

technology in your organisation. Our AFTeco drive has

been specifically developed to increase the efficiency of

Light-EMS systems and covers the entire load and speed

range of the EMS 200-2. That leaves room for variable

capacity increases.
