FORUM ANALYTICS HOSTED ITS ANNUAL CLIENT CONFERENCE, VALIDATE YOUR INSTINCT 2017, AT THE PENINSULA CHICAGO AUGUST 7-9.

Eleven sessions covering a wide range of best-practice topics around real estate forecasting and analytics were presented by senior executive leaders to attendees representing over 80,000 retail, restaurant and consumer services locations worldwide.

THE ART AND SCIENCE OF REAL ESTATE MODELINGGrant Nelson, Vice President of Strategic Financial Analytics for the US Automotive Parts Group at Genuine Parts Company, presented the multiple solutions provided by Forum Analytics and the SIMMS platform. The results of the partnership with this longtime Forum client include customized programming and optimization efforts developed in support of continued retail operations for NAPA Auto.

Genuine Parts Company reported record revenues in Q2 2017, including a 4% increase for the Automotive Group.

ADVANCED REAL ESTATE ANALYTICS TO OPTIMIZE DEVELOPMENT PLANNING

Forum Analytics Founder, Paul Sill, welcomed more than 120 attendees to Validate Your Instinct 2017 and hosted Saladworks CEO, Patrick Sugrue, in a discussion providing executive viewpoints on analytics and their role in growth strategy. Members from Forum’s stats and project teams also presented topics including market optimization, regression modeling, and data enhancements for real estate planning.

MYTHS, HYPE AND TRENDS IN REAL ESTATE ANALYTICSMachine learning, social media data, and omnichannel retail for the real estate industry were hot topics explored at Validate Your Instinct 2017. The presenters took attendees through a closer look at these subjects and provided some valuable insights.
