2017 Update your details competitionBy submitting an entry, all entrants are deemed to have accepted the following terms and conditions:

1. Entry is open to all new and existing subscribers to Tourism and Events Queensland’s eNews, who are over the age of 18. Only one entry per person is permitted.

2. To enter, entrants must do the following: (i) fill out the entry form on www.queensland.com during the specified competition period; (ii) ensure your subscription details are updated.

3. The Promotion opens on 19 May 2017 (12:00pm AEST) and closes on 9 June 2017 (3:00pm AEST).

4. Each entrant will be entered into a draw for a prize consisting of one (1) $AUD5,000 Flight Centre travel voucher to be used for flights to Queensland and travel to a Queensland destination(s) ONLY.

5. Tourism and Events Queensland reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify: (i) any entries that tamper with, or attempt to tamper with the entry process; (ii) any entries that Tourism and Events Queensland considers manipulative, unrepresentative, or disproportionate; (iii) any individuals found entering who corrupt or affect, or attempt to corrupt or affect, the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the entry process.

6.6. The winner will be selected by a random draw. The drawing of the prize will be conducted at XCOM Media Unit 1, 15 Lamington Street, New Farm, Brisbane on 12 June 2017 (10:00am AEST). The winner will be notified by email after the draw and the winner’s name will be posted on http://www.queensland.com. To claim the voucher, the winner must supply their postal address (if different than driver’s license). When the prize has been claimed the voucher details will be sent by registered post to the winner.

7. If the prize voucher is not claimed within two weeks of the prize draw, a new winner will be re-drawn and the new winner will be notified as before.

8.8. Travel bookings must be made via a dedicated Flight Centre Travel Consultant based in Australia. Contact details will be provided to the prize winner.

9. If the prize voucher is not claimed by a drawn winner during the time specified above, the prize will be forfeited.

10. The prize voucher is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash and is subject to the conditions stated on the voucher.

11.11. All expenses outside of the stated prize inclusions are at the cost and responsibility of the winner. Travel insurance is not provided and the Promoter recommends the prize winner obtain comprehensive insurance.

12. Tourism and Events Queensland accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize or any variation in the prize advertised and the prize provided.

13. Tourism and Events Queensland will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of winning the prize.

114. The winner accepts that Tourism and Events Queensland may use the winner’s name and likeness for promotional and publicity purposes.

15. The Promoter’s decision concerning any aspect of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

16. The Promoter is Tourism and Events Queensland of 30 Makerston Street, Brisbane Qld 4000.
