The 2017 Summit will focus on the latest surgical and prosthetic treatment protocols that are designed to enhance treatment predictability and post treatment patient satisfaction as well as longevity.

Edward Mills, D.D.S., is the past President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He was the director of Medical College of Georgia’s Comprehensive Implant Program for 27 years as well as the The Georgia Maximus Program which is a 380 hour Comprehensive Program in Implant Dentistry. He is the director of the Advanced Dental Implant Studies group. He was the past director of Emory Adventist Hospital’s 3 year residency program in Dental Implantology. He is an honored fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He is currently the director of the Atlanta Institute for Advanced Education and the clinical director of the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry. Richard Miron, DDS, Dr. Richard Miron, BMSC, MSc, PhD, DDS, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his undergraduate degree in Medical Science and a Masters in Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Bern, Switzerland and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Laval, Canada. His main research interests involve enamel matrix proteins for bone and periodontal regeneration, bioactive growth factors, osteoinductive bone grafting materials and guided bone regeneration in implant dentistry.LECTURE TOPIC: A Biological and Clinical Evaluation of Regenerative Materials That Can Enhance Clinical Results and Predictability

Ziv Mazor, D.M.D, graduated from the periodontal department at the Hadassah School for Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. Prof. Mazor has been engaged in clinical research in the field of Bone Augmentation and Sinus Floor Elevation. He is participating in the quest for improving and evaluating new grafting materials, using various growth factors. Prof. Mazor is part of the continuing education faculty at the New York University and an Associate Professor at Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest, Romania. He is an active member in numerous societies, such as: AAP (American Academy of Periodontology), AO (Academy of Osseointegration), EFP (European Federation of Periodontology) and ICOI (International Congress of Oral Imlantologists). Prof. Mazor maintains a private practice limited to periodontal and implant dentistry in Ra'anana, Israel. Samuel Lee, DDS, is a Diplomate of American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. Dr. Samuel Lee graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry. He then practiced implant dentistry and orthodontics in a private practice in Buena Park, California. Dr. Lee has published numerous articles on sinus grafting techniques, implant dentistry, and Temporary Anchorage Devices. He is the inventor of the "Crestal Window Sinus Grafting Technique," and owns the patent on his sinus instrument manufactured by Megagen Implant. Michael Pikos, DDS, graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He completed an internship at Miami Valley Hospital and residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Montefiore Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is founder and CEO of the Pikos Institute. Nelson Pinto, DMD, is the founder and Chairman of the Research Center for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine in Concepcion, Chile, where for the past thirty years he maintained an active private practice specializing in Advanced Oral Implantology. Currently, Dr. Pinto is Visiting Professor at the Department of Oral Health Sciences and Periodontology, University Hospitals Catholic University, Leuven, Belgium and Professor at the Universidad de los Andes, Santiago, Chile, Graduate School of Implantology and Periodontics. He is a leading expert in L-PRF, soft and hard tissue regeneration and wound healing. Among his many accomplishments, are his awards for Best Oral Research Presentation at the 4th Congress of the World Union of Wound Healing Societies and his “Contribution to Clinical or Preclinical Research” at the Journal of Wound Care/World Union of Wound Healing Societies.LECTURE TOPIC: Understanding The Clinical Mechanism of Action of Different Bioactivator Components So As To Optimize Clinical Results

Melvin Maningky, DMD, received his dental degree at the ACTA, Amsterdam. After graduation he worked as a dentist in private practice during his medical training. He received his MD in 2001 at the VU University / VUMC Teaching hospital, Amsterdam. He finished his training as a Maxillofacial Surgeon at the VUMC Teaching hospital, Amsterdam in 2004. The practice is now transformed into a successful department with 7 maxillofacial surgeons. He focuses on Implant / pre-implant Surgery and Orthognathic surgery. His main area of interest is 3D planning in orthognathic surgery and minimal invasive techniques for pre-implant bone grafting procedures.LECTURE TOPIC: Utilization of Biomodifiers and Stem Cells to Optimize Major Osseous and Soft Tissue Procedures

Cory Glenn, DDS, graduated from University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he went on to complete the Lutheran Medical Center’s AEGD residency at the UT Memphis branch. He is an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is the Chairman of Continuing Education for the TN AGD and is co-owner of Blue Sky Bio Academy. He operates a private practice in Winchester, TN where he performs all disciplines of dentistry with a particular focus on utilizing technology and innovative techniques to provide treatment in an efficient and cost effective manner while still maintaining the highest level of quality. Scott Ganz, DMD, graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry – New Jersey Dental School. He completed a three-year specialty program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ganz is well- published in various scientific and professional journals (over 50 articles). He has delivered presentations both nationally and internationally on the Prosthetic and Surgical phases of Implant Dentistry and is considered a leader in the field of Computer Utilization for Diagnostic, Graphical, and Treatment Planning Applications in Dentistry. Jack Hahn, DDS, earned his DDS from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, and completed postgraduate coursework at Boston University, New York University, the University of Michigan, and the University of Kentucky. A pioneer in the field of implant dentistry, Dr. Hahn has been placing and restoring implants for 45 years. Dr. Hahn developed the NobelReplace® dental implant system for Nobel Biocare (Yorba Linda, Calif.), and oversaw the design of the Hahn™ Tapered Implant. Recipient of the Aaron Gershkoff Lifetime Achievement Award in implant dentistry and the Venue and LEAD magazine Healthcare Leadership Award, Dr. Hahn was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in June 2015. Robert Emery, DDS, Dr. Robert Emery received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Illinois and Bachelor of Science Degree in Dentistry. He received his certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of Maryland where he received extensive training in orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, and facial trauma. He is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Aldo Leopardi, DDS, received his dental training from the University of Adelaide, South Australia and University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), Michigan. In 1993, he received his specialist training and master’s degree in combined fixed, removable and implant Prosthodontics, at the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill (UCH-CH). He was faculty at UNC-CH, UDM, and Colorado Health Sciences School of Dentistry. Since 1999, he has been in full-time private practice limited to Prosthodontics in Denver, Colorado. Today he lectures nationally on subjects involving fixed, removable and implant dentistry, and is involved in clinical research. Jack Krauser, DMD, Dr. Krauser started his dental career at the University of Pennsylvania, Dental school. He then went on to the Periodontics department at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. After a short stay in private practice in NY, he started his own practice in Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton, Florida, where he practices today. He has lectured nationally and internationally on subjects including implant design, surfaces, extraction socket therapy, ridge augmentation and regeneration as well as guided implant surgery. Eiji Furuichi, DDS, PhD, graduated from Osaka Dental University in Osaka, Japan. In 1998 he started his private practice "Furuichi Dental Clinic"in Kobe, Hyogo. In 2005, he obtained his Ph.D in prosthodontics from Osaka Dental University. Dr.Eiji Furuichi majored in Periodontics, Implants, Esthetics, and Prosthodontics and has advanced skills in these areas. Borja Diaz Oliver, DDS, graduated in from the Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid, Spain and is a specialist in Implantology, Periodontics and Esthetics. He completed an Advanced Course in Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics at Loma Linda University and Maimonides University. He is a part of the Clinical Masters Program in Advanced Implant Aesthetics at the University of the Pacific. He obtained an Advanced Periodontics Specialist certification at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Dr. Diaz has a Master in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation from the Escuela Superior de Implantología de Barcelona. Itzhak Binderman, DMD, is a professor of dentistry and biomaterials at Tel Aviv University. He is also a faculty member in the Department of Oral Biology, School of Dental Medicine – Sackler Faculty of Medicine  and Department of Biomedical Engineering – Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Binderman’s main research areas involve tissue engineering of bone. He has authored many publications and also holds countless patents.LECTURE TOPIC: Understanding the Biophysiology of Osseous-Regeneration and the Latest Concepts of Tissue Engineering

Jaime Lozada, D.D.S, is the director of the Graduate Program in Implant Dentistry and professor at Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry. He completed his residency in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and his graduate prosthodontics certificate from the same university. Dr. Lozada has been instrumental in training residents and fellows in the latest techniques in oral implant surgery and prosthodontics at the Graduate Program and the Center for Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, a Fellow and current President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry.LECTURE TOPIC: Utilization of 3D Printing for Treatment Planning and Advanced Surgical and Prosthetic Protocols: An Introduction to Bio-Printing

General Information Registration The registration fee for doctors is $2995 after July 15, 2017. Early registration discounts are presented on the registration page. The program fee for doctors includes admission to all general sessions, program materials, breaks, receptions, and one formal gala ticket including a sit-down dinner. A Spouse’s general admission registration of $800 after July 15, 2017 will give access to all meeting spaces including exhibitor’s area and receptions as well as one formal gala ticket including a sit-down dinner. Limited attendance hands on workshops will be filled on a first come first serve basis and will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 9AM-1PM and on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 9AM-12PM. Registration fees are refundable prior to July 30, 2017, less a $250 administrative charge. After July 30, 2017, the registration fee is non-refundable.

Location and Lodging All sessions will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, GA. Limited attendance hands on workshops will place on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 9AM-1PM and on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 9AM-12PM. The general session will begin on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 1PM.
