The two WCWS tickets punched by league teams marks the eighth occurance in conference history that two or more teams have earned a spot on the big stage.

The last time two league teams competed in the College World Series was in 2014 when Baylor and Oklahoma both advanced to Oklahoma City. Additionally, the last time two Big 12 teams played against each other was in 2013 (Oklahoma vs. Texas).

Oklahoma recorded its sixth straight and 10th overall Big 12 softball regular season title this season. The team’s 17-1 Big 12 record marks the second consecutive year with only one loss.

Baylor’s Gia Rodoni produced two no-hitters during Regional play, becoming the first pitcher to throw two in the same NCAA tournament and the first in Baylor history to throw one in postseason action.

Three Big 12 individuals rank among the top 30 in the nation in batting average, including two in the top 20: 9. Nicole Mendes, OU (.438) 20. Lindsey Cargill, BU (.430) 30. Kyla Walker, BU (.422)

The league went a combined 13-4 against NFCA ranked opponents during the NCAA postseason, including an 8-1 record for teams entering the World Series.
