• Experts‘ nomination for National, Regional and Continental Hopes
• ITTF World Hopes Week & Challenge; Luxembourg, 11-17 August:
o 32 players, 24 coaches from 22 National Associations
o Head Coaches: Zhang Yining and Li Xiaodong (both CTTC/CHN)
• Launch of the bidding process for the 2018 ITTF World Hopes Week & Challenge
• Hopes Team selection and World Cadet Challenge activity preparation
Athletes U15 Coaches Online Education Promotion Other
• 1st Rough Diamonds Training Camp; Slovenia, 25 September – 3 October:o Head Coaches: Andreja Ojstersek-Urh and Joze Urh (both SLO)
o Participants from 21 National Associations:
9 girls and 6 boys from the Rough Diamonds group U15
7 girls and 7 boys from the With the Future in Mind U17 group of YOG candidates
18 coaches and 20 additionally invited players/sparing partners
o 7 Educational Sessions: 4 technical, 1 Anti-Doping, 1 Sport Psychology, 1 Motivational Speaker
• 2nd Rough Diamonds Training Camp; Luxembourg, 10-19 December:o Head Coach: Zhang Yining (CTTC/CHN) assisted by 2 more CTTC Coaches and CHN sparing partners
o Participants from 15 National Associations:
9 girls and 7 boys from the Rough Diamonds group U15
7 girls from the With the Future in Mind U17 group of YOG candidates

IOC Athlete Career Program 2nd and 3rd Outreach Workshops during the WTTC
Seamaster ITTC-CTTC Training Camp Shanghai, 26 June – 4 July
