OVERVIEW Bethel has an annual tradition of going out to Montana after the conclusion of the first semester. DATES: January 20-24, 2017 COST: $400 includes transportation, lodging, lift tickets, hot springs, and most meals. *Meals not included are the fast food stops on the way to Montana and on the way back: Friday dinner, Saturday break- fast, Monday dinner, and Tuesday breakfast. We will drive through the night in order to arrive at Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, Montana to ski/snowboard on Saturday, January 21. We will ski/snowboard at Big Sky on Sunday, Janu- ary 22 and Monday, January 23. We will once again drive through the night in order to be home around noon on Tues- day, January 24. We will stay at the Mountain View Lodge and Suites in Boze- man MT. WHAT TO BRING Blanket/ sleeping bag/ pillow/ slippers for bus ride Snacks for bus ride Money for food on the road (Suggested: $50) Extra money for souvenirs/snacks (Optional) Wool socks for ski/snowboarding (2-3 pairs) Layers of clothing: wicking first layer, fleece, outer shell/ coat, neck gator, hat, gloves/mittens Water bottle or camel back (lots of small sips when on the mountain to stay hydrated) Swimsuit/small towel Toiletries Sunscreen/ lip balm Skis/ snowboard/ boots/ poles/ helmet/ goggles. (Equipment Rentals available at the ski resorts). A willing attitude, ready to participate in activities and devotionals Entertainment media that is appropriate for a church re- treat. If in doubt, leave it at home. DO NOT BRING: drugs/tobacco/alcohol/fireworks, etc. RULES Avoid inappropriate sexual talk or behavior, such as POPDA (public or private displays of affection), or explicit music/videos. Ski at your OWN LEVEL OF SKILL. Do not cajole oth- ers into skiing higher than they can. Be in groups of at least two on the slopes, in the chalet, and at rest stops.
