FOR A BETTER & SOUNDER SLEEP

TIP #1: LOWER THE TEMPERATURE IN YOUR BEDROOMBed bugs love warm environments with temperatures above 21 degrees Celsius so you can get rid of them by making it a bit colder in your bedroom. Next to keeping the temperature lower, don’t forget to ventilate your bedroom regularly and avoid very warm blankets so that the bed is never warm enough for the bed bugs.

TIP #2: TIME FOR SLEEPGo to bed in the evening and get up in the morning at approximately the same time. If you don‘t fall asleep within 15-20 minutes after going to bed, get up again and do something physically exhausting or something that makes you sleepy, but also calms and relaxes you.

TIP #3: CLEAN YOUR BEDVacuum clean your bed and its immediate surroundings at least once a week; wipe the surrounding area with a wet cloth but don’t use a dry one or a broom because it causes dust and allergens to swirl up. It is also very important to change and wash your bedding weekly. Put everything you can in a washing machine at minimum 40o C, and use a steam to clean the parts you can’t put in the washing machine.

TIP #4: TURN OFF YOUR GADGETS As blue light emitted from smartphone, TV and computer screens can suppress melatonin (a hormone helping you sleep) and increase your alertness, you won’t be able to sleep as good as you could. So best advice is to stop checking your mobile devices at least 30 minutes before going to bed.

TIP #5: DON’T INVITE YOUR HAIRY FRIENDS TO BEDYour pets are always a good company – but unfortunately, bed bugs agree. Therefore, it’s best you don’t allow them in your bedroom, because bed bugs and dust love your pets and plushy teddy bears – at least as much as you do.

TIP #6: BEFORE SLEEPBefore you go to bed, drink a glass of milk, which contains Calcium and some other ingredients that will help you relax and fall asleep. Avoid coffee, alcohol and nicotine in late afternoon hours and if you can take a relaxing bath right before you go to bed and also get a good book.

VISCOSE FIBERS Soft and highly absorbent viscose fibers have temperature regulation properties, thus making your duvet, pillow or mattress cover perfectly suitable for use during summer and winter. Also having more moisture absorbency of cotton, viscose fibers from bamboo offer a dry and healthier sleeping comfort.

COTTON Cotton assures natural airiness in your sleeping environment and its durability and strength guarantee the highest level of softness and suppleness.

ORGANIC COTTON Organic cotton is grown without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals such as fertilizers or pesticides. Because of that it offers a healthier and cleaner product which reduce risk in insect and disease.

NATURAL WHITE FIBRES Those are knitted, woven and non-woven fabrics that have a natural fiber color. How to choose a topper?There are 3 important things that you should consider when choosing the right topper for you:

1. The shape of the surface on which you are planning to use your new topper – is it worn out, used up, has lumps, is uneven, has sunken spots or is it relatively new and has a proper, even sleeping surface?

If you have a relatively uneven sleeping surface with sunken spots on which you are planning to use the topper you need a firmer topper that has foam comfort layer that will improve the shape of your sleeping surface. If you have a relatively new and even sleeping surface you need a softer topper made out of memory foam.

2. What would you like to gain with buying the new topper – additional height, comfort, or both? If you would like to gain additional height on your sleeping surface we recommend toppers that are 5 to 7cm high. For additional comfort consider choosing toppers that have a layer of memory foam that will give you a pleasant sensation of weightlessness and relieve pressure points.

3. Would you like to have a healthier sleeping environment?
