What do VVT Solenoids and Sprockets do?

The VVT Solenoid meters the oil flow to control the actuation of the VVT Sprocket. The VVT Sprocket mechanically shifts the position of the camshaft. The actuated position is varied based on the PCM commands to advance or retard the engine’s valve timing.

NEW Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensors

The Importance of the RTD Sensor

In addition to testing and calibration, another important factor for MAF sensor

performance is the use of high-quality RTD sensors. All SMP-manufactured MAF

sensors feature custom-designed, platinum flow RTD sensors that precisely match

OE outputs, and temperature RTD sensors that match OE specifications more

• A complete line of Overrunning Alternator Pulleys to help technicians properly diagnose and repair a common failure on today’s alternator. We’ll be partnering with some of the top rotating electrical manufacturers in the market today for this line.

• Our Hybrid Drive Coolant Pumps provide a quality replacement for a vital piece of the hybrid system, which helps keep key components at a safe operating temperature.

The time is now for A/C Specialist & A/C Repair Shops to become familiar with the transition to R1234yf. Technicians who receive a monetary value for servicing a vehicle with R1234yf will be required by EPA regulations to successfully complete an approved Section 609 Training and Certification Program. In addition, Technicians must use certified service equipment designed for recovery only or recovery, recycling and recharging A/C systems.

Four Seasons® Flush Gun Design uses a continuous supply of regulated shop air as well as a universal adapter which allows a busy technician to hook up the component, start the flush process and work on something else while the tool does the work. Some closed loop flushing machines can cost upwards of $2,500. Get the same result for a fraction of the cost.

STEP 1Begin with Four Seasons® Temp Select™ flush solvent to remove debris and dirty oil from the system. Temp Select Flush is a highly effective, economical

flush solvent.

STEP 2Follow up with a small amount of the DURA II flush to ensure all flush solvent residue is removed from the system. DURA II is a premium, highly evaporative flush and will remove all traces of slower evaporating solvent residue and oil resulting in less evacuation time.
