Monday 27th November 2017 Do you supply products or services of interest to Family Entertainment Centres, Indoor Play Centres and the Leisure Industry? Be part of the newest exciting event in the BALPPA calendar being held this year at Drayton Manor Hotel. Monday starts with the Trade Exhibition and Training Workshops. The Awards Dinner takes place on the Monday evening and includes Awards Ceremony, three course dinner and entertainment until the early hours. Tickets are required to attend the Awards and sponsorship opportunities are available. Promote to Leisure & Play Attractions Leisure is attracting one and a half times more discretionary spend as retail, and the sector is growing twice as fast.
The UK leisure market is worth £117 billion in revenue and is growing nearly twice as fast as the retail sector, according to the 2016 state-of-the-sector report and a survey of 3,000 UK consumers from Deloitte, the business advisory firm.
The BALPPA Trade Exhibition & Awards is your opportunity to showcase your products and services to this constantly evolving sector. This addition to the BALPPA event calendar will attract, existing operators, new operators and potential operators along with emerging suppliers to this market place. This is your chance to promote your products or services and secure new business.
Location: Drayton Manor Hotel This extensive programme will be hosted at Drayton Manor Hotel, Tamworth, Birmingham. The Drayton Manor Hotel events space enables us to offer exhibitors, exhibition space, the opportunity to network and a chance to catch up with operators and suppliers from across the Indoor Play & FEC Industry. The Trade Exhibition is located in the Tower Suite at Drayton Manor with refreshments available throughout the day.
NB: Exhibitors with large/heavy stands should pay careful attention to the vehicle access notes.
Timings for Trade Exhibition Pre-Event Access: Exhibitors will be able to access the exhibition space from 6.00pm till 9.00pm on Sunday 26th November for set up. Access will also be available on Monday 27th November from 7.30am please note stands must be fully set up by 9.00am. Coffee and cookies will be available from 8.30am. Exhibitors will be allocated with a ‘refreshment wristband’ included as part of the Exhibitor Pack. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, with the trade exhibition closing promptly at 4.30pm. Drinks Reception for the Awards commencing at 7.00pm

Event Space Prices We are delighted to be able to offer 2017 exhibition stands at very competitive rates with BALPPA members entitled to a discretionary rate. To keep trade stand prices low, we do not offer a shell scheme, only floor space. There is no additional cost for power but sockets are shared and could be some distance so please bring extension cables. Tables & chairs (6ft x 2.5ft tables plus 1 chair) are available to hire for a nominal £15 charge, please add this to your booking. If additional chairs are required, please add to booking form at a cost of £5 per chair.
To book your space download an Exhibition Space booking form from the BALPPA website and return it to the BALPPA office or email to [email protected]. Please note payment must be made before stand reservations can be confirmed.

Accommodation We have secured a special BALPPA FEC Awards rate at the Drayton Manor Hotel of
£65 per room B&B exc VAT. Available for one or two night stays. The cancellation
policy on these rooms is 28 days’ notice. There are a limited number of rooms
available at this rate, sold on a first come first served basis. Accommodation must be
booked directly with the hotel please advise ‘BALPPA FEC AWARDS’ when
booking.

Extra Exhibition Space Team Members Each exhibition space includes entry and fee for one member manning your exhibition stand for the 27th November. If you book two adjoining stands it includes entry and refreshments for 2 of your staff to man your exhibition stand Exhibitor Passes include refreshments throughout the day. If you would like to book extra colleagues to attend please choose this option when booking your hire space, cost is £15 per additional person + VAT.
Additional Activities & Awards Dinner bookings The level of activities across the three days provides opportunities to network with BALPPA members’ operators or trade members also including speakers and delegates. As an open access event the exhibition and the awards offers the opportunity to network with non-members too. This event will gather the ‘movers & shakers’ from across the leisure industry. Free listing in the Exhibition Pack & Social Media All exhibitors get a free listing in the Exhibition Pack which will be available to delegates. Promotion will also take place via social media. Please email a description (up to 150 words) and a hi-res logo to [email protected] Deadline 1st November 2017. Promotion via social media will take place as the event approaches for those organisations that have supplied marketing materials.
Exhibition Hall Accessibility Vehicle Access: There are parking bays approximately 20m from the exhibition hall entrance. However, parking spaces by the doors to the exhibition hall itself will be reserved for quick drop off. These will be allocated on a timed basis for quick drop-off, pick-up with priority given to exhibitors with large/heavy stands. Please advise the BALPPA Office of your access needs, we will produce a timed drop-off and break down access plan once all requests have been received.
Parking: Parking is free on the hotel site. We ask however that consideration be given to other hotel guests and all vehicles be parked with care and attention. Blue badge holder parking spaces are located close to the hotel entrance. If assistance is required for exhibition space set up or breakdown, please advise [email protected].
