We will start July with a Day in Geneva featuring their 3 1/2 hour CRUISE AND TOUR of The Black Point Estate and the Elburn Meat Market on way home. The only way to follow that up is with a Mystery Trip. Then we close out July with an Evening Trip, Broadway Chicago style, at the Oriental Theater’s An American in Paris. Dinner will be first at a Petterino’s! August will begin as we take a trip out to Rock Island’s Circa '21 dinner Playhouse for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. This is followed up as we travel back to Munster, Indiana Theater at the Center ~ for a Chicagoland Premiere The Tin Woman. Next, we’ll travel up to Wisconsin to Potawatomi Casino, they’ve got you covered when you come to play! The fun continues at Light Opera Works, which is to change its name to Music Theater Works presents "Gypsy," lunch first at The Farmhouse in Evanston. And we end August how we began July, with a scenic cruise featuring a full lunch served aboard the Spirit of Peoria. The cruise will travel the Mississippi River. Once back on shore we’ll have time to shop and enjoy Grafton. Forest Park Groovin’ in The Grove returns this summer. Wander over to the Altenheim Picnic Grove on Madison Street and enjoy Live Entertainment with refreshments & beverages available for Purchase. It is a great way to spend a summer evening. Dear Friends:

It’s sizzling summertime and we have some really cool trips planned! We will start July with a Day in Geneva featuring their 3 1/2 hour CRUISE AND TOUR of The Black Point Estate and the Elburn Meat Market on way home. The only way to follow that up is with a Mystery Trip. Then we close out July with an Evening Trip, Broadway Chicago style, at the Oriental Theater’s An American in Paris. Dinner will be first at a Petterino’s!

August will begin as we take a trip out to Rock Island’s Circa '21 dinner Playhouse for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. This is followed up as we travel back to Munster, Indiana Theater at the Center ~ for a Chicagoland Premiere The Tin Woman. Next, we’ll travel up to Wisconsin to Potawatomi Casino, they’ve got you covered when you come to play! The fun continues at Light Opera Works, which is to change its name to Music Theater Works presents "Gypsy," lunch first at The Farmhouse in Evanston. Join us for a special Day in Geneva featuring their 3 1/2 hour CRUISE AND TOUR of The Black Point Estate. Your morning will start off with sweet rolls, assorted fresh fruits and Coffee at the center as we board the bus for Geneva. Our cruise starts at 10:30 am where we’ll enjoy a look inside this historic estate! After a 45 minute narrated boat tour from Lake Geneva to Black Point. The Black Point Estate is located on a bluff overlooking Geneva Lake. There are a series of approximately 100 stairs and landings from the pier to the house which all visitors must be able to negotiate. Visitors will take a guided tour of the first two floors of the mansion and the exterior grounds which will last approximately 1½ hours. The return trip to Lake Geneva by boat will also include a Potbelly Boxed Lunch and a narrated tour. Once back on shore we’ll have time to shop and enjoy Geneva before heading back on the bus at 3:30. We’ll stop at Elburn Meat Market on the way home!

We’ll also enjoy lunch and a Broadway production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

The cruise will travel the Mississippi River and people will have a chance to enjoy the scenic beauty found here. The Spirit of Peoria will depart and return to The Loading Dock in Grafton. Cruise begins approximately 30 minutes after boarding. Cruising time is 2 hours. Once back on shore we will have time to shop and enjoy Grafton before heading back on the bus at 4.
