Direct to garment (or DTG) printing involves an advanced inkjet printer laying ink directly onto a garment.

These prints are generally thinner than screenprints, allowing for more intricate designs and a softer print texture. The full range of color in a photograph or gradients of an image can be expressed.

We require high-quality (150 dpi) raster PNG files to be submitted for DTG print orders.

Direct-To-Garment (DTG)

Screen printing is a form of garment printing in which plastisol-based inks are pressed through a screen onto a garment, leaving a layer of ink on top of the fabric.

During the printing process, a set of screens (one for each color being printed) rotates around a press in a carousel motion and takes turns being pressed onto each garment.

We require vector EPS files to be submitted for screen print orders.

Screenprinting

Sublimation printing occurs when ink is transferred by heat and pressure to a specially treated surface.

These prints feature vibrant, high-fidelity color and are very durable. We use sublimation printing for our phone cases and mugs, producing accurate results.

We require high-quality (150 dpi) raster PNG files to be submitted for sublimation print orders.

We offer true borderless printing; no extra margins will show at the edges of the paper.

All posters are printed on premium 200 gsm gloss and matte paper. We use only aqueous inks suited for full-color digital art prints.

Our new Fresno facility opened in 2016 and includes a 25-machine DTG roomand 10 screenprint presses that run a full 24 hours a day.

Our facility in Scranton houses screen-printing and DTG production and operates24 hours a day.

In 2016, we added a new 48-machine DTG megaroom and a mug megaoven to our Indianapolis facility. The over 90 DTG print-ers and 19 screen presses run 24 hours a day.

Our facilities are optimally placed around the nation to ensure two-day shipping to nearly 80% of the country. With state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge operations, we’re committed to delivering the lowest prices, best quality, and fastest turnaround times in the industry. Here’s a look at our facilities:

Order Entry

To pay your bill or view a statement, go to the “Billing” tab on the website and click the blue “Make Payment” button.

Select the invoice(s) you’d like to process a payment on and choose to make your payment via credit card, ACH check payment, or PayPal. Should your company need to pay via live check, please make the check out to “Scalable Press” and use the following remit address:

Billing

1. Click “Place Order”

2. Add design. Art requirements can be found at www.scalablepress.com/services

3. Choose the type of printing you want to use (DTS, Screenprint, Case, Mug, Poster), and click “Create a new design.”

4. Name the design, choose the location, upload the appropriate print folder, and choose the placement and size ratios.

5. After the design artwork has been loaded into the system, choose an item to print on. For garments specifically, search by unisex, ladies, youth, and recent items.

6. Add design and quantities, and shipping address.

7. Adjust shipping method.

8. Review and approve your order.

You will reach “Unpaid” status if you have placed an order and have no terms left to cover it. You must pay off your balance due or make a payment to the order. Failure to clear the order in 30 days will result in the order getting automatically cancelled.

Cancelling or modifying an order: Scalable Press’ technology automates a large part of the production process, and therefore an order cannot be canceled or modified after it has been placed.

Returns: As all items are custom printed, we do not accept returns. However, we do stand by our quality. If there is a problem with the finished product, you can file a claim on the “Claims” section of the website. Most claims are resolved within 24 hours.

Order Status: You can follow the status of your order from the moment it is placed until the moment it arrives. Simply go to the “Orders” tab, choose your order, and look at the “Events” tab. Once the order ships, you will receive a tracking number that allows you to track the shipment with the carrier until delivery.

Account Details

White Label ShippingAll packages sent by Scalable Press will have a return address that can state your business name as the fulfillment center. Your sales representative can input your business name and address as the return address on all ship-ments so that when your clients receive their orders, they will know who they are from.

Reseller LicenseIf you are reselling this product, you can upload your reseller license under the “Settings” tab upon logging in. If you don’t have your reseller license available, we’ve included the form to fill out. After uploading this form, Scalable Press will not charge sales tax on any orders on your account.

Credit LimitYou may request a line of credit. We offer terms to qualified candidates. In order to request a line of credit, please fill out the credit application under the “Billing” tab of your ac-count. All credit requests will be reviewed and responded to in 2-3 business days.

Production CentersScalable Press has production centers in Cali-fornia, Indiana, and Pennsylvania and controls quality the same way at each facility. Your order will be routed to the neared production center.

Email SettingsScalable Press allows you to customize your account level email settings. After each order, Scalable Press will send email notifications to the main email address on file for each of the following actions:

• Order Placement • Order Shipping (includes tracking number) • Order Cancellation

To edit your email notification settings, click into your “Settings” tab and edit under “Email settings”.

Default Shipping SettingsYou can choose different account shipping defaults under the “Settings” tab and under “Change default shipping methods”.

If you’d like to use your company shipping account, contact your account representative to input it into your account.

Scalable Press currently ships via UPS, USPS, and DHL.
