Year 10 Careers Expo Excursion The Careers Expo excursion was held on Tuesday (27th June) at Avondale College. The Expo presented opportunities for students to find out about a variety of career areas and avenues of further study. A multimedia showcase was presented providing information about a variety of vocations, including apprenticeships, and indicating areas of possible future work where there are expected skill shortages e.g. tourism and aged care. In the main Expo hall, students were able to investigate areas of personal interest by talking to career and institution representatives and collecting printed material to take away and read. Universities, TAFE, private colleges were represented along with various other organisations such as the Defence Force and Central Coast Council.
