Galitt new KaNest® version brings always more automation
and reliability to card testing

Visa has just confirmed the latest versions KaNest®-ICC VIS Card Test Suite for contact cards and the KaNest®-ICC VCPS Card Test Suite for contactless cards, demonstrating how Galitt's KaNest® test tools series new approach makes testing easier, less time-consuming and more reliable.
Galitt new KaNest®-ICC Test Suites implement a new Visa process for test generation, which allows to create automatically standardized test plans thus making test more efficient, user-friendly and reliable.
This implementation has been recognized by Visa with the confirmation of:
• KaNest®-ICC VIS Card Test Suite, which implements Visa VIS 161A card – R01 test plan for
contact cards,
• KaNest®-ICC VCPS Card Test Suite, which implements Visa VCPS 22A card – R01 test plan for
contactless cards.
With a longstanding experience in test tools, Galitt has been striving to make its test tools easier to use. Now, with the latest release of KaNest®-ICC test tools, test operations are automated, reducing the workload for test operators and avoiding the risk of human errors. In addition, Galitt has paid a special attention to user-friendliness while ensuring the operator gets an access to the detail of exchanges between the card and the terminal.
To make test execution always easier and ensure their reliability, Galitt implements the new process defined by Visa under its RATS (Requirements, Application, Testing, Specification) tool. Now, with the latest release of KaNest®-ICC test tools, the tool sends a full set of parameters to the card for its personalization and executes the test plan. This way, the whole test operation is run in a single step, liberating the operator from having to remove and reinsert test cards.
Going further on the path to make test always easier and more reliable, a card vendor just has to list its product functionalities in the ICS (Implementation Conformance Statement). Galitt KaNest®-ICC test tool automatically generates the list of applicable tests from the ICS. The next step is for the test operator to open the test list and run them automatically. KaNest®-ICC test tool also generates automatically a test report in .csv or .xml format.
