Ryan Edmund Papenfus in Brief

Ryan was a finalist in the SA Schools Essay Competition, & has been active in Public Speaking & Debate.He has been active in cultural activities, participating in theatrical fund-raisers for the Round Table. Ryan still studies and teaches music, and spent 2 years in the Boksburg Junior Symphonic Orchestra.He completed his B.A. Humanities degree in 2001, majoring in Philosophy and Psychology – both passed with distinction, and earned the Golden Key International Honour Society certificate for Top 15% Academic Achievers. The following year he completed his B. Com Marketing Management degree, majoring in Marketing Management, Business Management, and Logistics Management.Thereafter he joined Siemens for four years working in several diverse fields and completed several in-house training certificates, as well as feature writing for the Siemens Newspaper, AmongstUs, distributed to around 1 million people worldwide.Since 2005 he has worked in property for Viewpoint Developments and Papenfus Estates.

Ryan matriculated from CBC Boksburg in 1997 with IEB Certification. Played three years 1st team Rugby, five years 1st team swimming (ranked 1st in Albion House all five years), played cricket, tennis, and represented CBC in Inter-Schools Athletics, holding the Boksburg Juniors high-jump record. He’s completed the Midmar Mile on several occasions and has been actively involved in Funakoshi Karate training and teaching for decades.
