There is a new thermostat in the clubhouse, stays on 6 hours. Please flush the toilets so they don’t dry up and crystalize. Conservation - Jim Miller He is fixing the blue bird houses and other structures for wildlife habitat. .Publicity and Ads - Ted Bush Accepting Bulletin patron ads tonight. Also placed an advertisement in the Community Recorder for the Ham Shoot.Safety - Tim Rieger ALL SAFE. The plywood cover for the water shutoff is rotted, need replacement.Rifle & Pistol - Don Reed ALL good.Lakes Greg Schwartz - working with Dan Saunders on fish from the state. Work party on April 9th, clean up around the lakes and clubhouse. Working on the boat house, storage shed. New oars are in and stored. Handicap fishing derby, we have received donations from Valvoline Archery - Dan Schabell watch for soft ground on the walk through range.Trap Jim Montgomery - #2 trap still down, problems getting fixed.Spitfires - Jim Sharp received $2K donation from the Potterfield Foundation, to be used for the Spitfires budget, He has 4 new kids, would like to see more. Shooting on Fridays @7:00 PM Camping Tom Pyke - opens May 1st. Work Party on April 9th. Will cut down trees, clean up around lakes and camp ground and clubhouse. Possibly at the Archery range too. our expenses in stocking the lakes for the Fishing Derby. Hunter Safety course in ugust on a Saturday, will schedule. Federation Fair is on Sunday only this year, next meeting on March 29th at the Saddle Club.CMP Jim Patrick - Dues to CMP have been paid, new members can buy guns and ammo through the CMP since our club is a member. They will be selling the 1911’s at some point. Range Safety Officers class is scheduled for April 30th. Contact Jim for Details.NRA - Dan Heiert Friends of NRA Banquet was a success about $65K was raised. 2 of our members won guns, several more banquets are around the state. Tony Kramer has raffle tickets for AR-15, to benefit his son’s scholarship fund.Results for the vote on new members, all accepted.Unfinished business Dan Heiert the Special Olympics Fishing Derby letters of thanks for donations are available through him, Ham Shoot sign up sheets are up for April 15th and 16th. Scatter boards available on top of the pop machine.Andy Spenlaw the Easter Egg Hunt will be on March 20th, bring the kids and a covered dish. Randy Groesh announced that the machine gun shoot is at Web Creek Greg Schwartz the gas powered tools are at Mower Express for spring check up John Horan Jason member repaired the HVAC system. Thermostat is set to come to 70 degrees when activated for 6 hours, and then back to 60 degrees. Rich Staverman and his son did extensive work on the nature trail and bridge. Showed pictures of his progress. Taxes, work in progress John is working on a calendar to collect dates for bills that need to be paid annually, and licenses to be renewed to be completed. This to help us not miss things that need attention. Caretaker position is becoming available, to be advertised. New Business Proposed that we use reserve funds to pay off the Trap House, total due $43,198.00 Will be taken out of General Fund, saving us over $1,000 a year in interest. Loan is at 4.5% interest. Approved by membership to pay off at 5/3rd Bank. Telephone notification system, a tool to notify members of up coming events and activities and work parties. Cost about $1,000 per year for 500 numbers. Chris McGreevy volunteered to host the system, and help set up the numbers and Maintain. A lot of options are available in the system, with possible benefits. Approved by membership System will be tested and evaluated for one year. The Handicap Fishing Derby will be on May 14th, several projects need completed, a tree by the members lake needs to be removed, as well as several others. We will be trying to get the state to reimburse us 75% of our expenses to stock lakes for the event. Proposed that we spend up to $750 max. A total of 31 members will be dropped from the club for nonpayment of dues. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 PM Respectfully submitted Ted Bush Secretary
