Camp Director Ms. Pickles says when

a girl goes to one of our camps…

She will grow in self-confidence and know that

her voice will count.

She will learn the importance in supporting

others and be supported.

She will increase her circle of friends, lead a

group, follow others, compromise, and make

decisions for herself. Along with other girls, she

will create a community that values differences.

She will discover that anything is possible and be

supported by a “can do” attitude. Memories will be

made. AND most of all, she’ll have FUN!

Come on out and meet our very own Ms. Pickles,

Outdoor Adventures Manager, at Girl Scouts of the

Colonial Coast. She’s a barrel of fun!

It’s time to jump into action and connect with nature and the outdoors! Canoe at Camp Skimino or one of our other camps, learn horseback riding at Camp Darden, find your

inner courage on a camp ropes and challenge course or explore science and technology while you’re having fun! You can find it all at one of our resident or day camps.

Just imagine sitting around a crackling campfire, surrounded by friends and laughter, and the smell of chocolate and a sweet marshmallow melting on a s’more, or creating and making extraordinary projects you can take home. There’s so much to do at Girl Scout camp and it’s waiting for you this summer!

When a girl goes to Girl Scout camp, a parent can expect the best! She’ll come home with a newly minted sense of respo sibility. She’ll gain more self-confidence. She’ll make more friends because camp is where friendships are born and fostered. At camp, girls will learn how to be their best and do their best. They’ll learn to believe in themselves. They’ll get a taste of success through teamwork, outdoor challenges, artwork and the fun, day-to-day activities that take place.

Most diets (gluten free, diabetic, kosher, vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc.) can be accommodated by contacting the outdoor adventures manager two weeks prior to the stay at camp.

Q: Do campers get to choose their activities?A: A camper’s first choice takes place when they register for their unit program.
