Find Your Covered Drugs

The web address listed in the Summary of Benefits and the EOC is www.anthem.com/medicare. User will need to drop the /medicare and then add the /shop/find-your-covered-Drugs. For example: www.webaddress.com/Shop/Find-Your-Covered-Drugs (NOTE: this is just for illustrative purposes and is not a valid web address)

Enter beneficiary Zip Code. The county field will be displayed. If the zip code has multiple counties, then they will need to select the appropriate county as well before clicking the continue button.

Step 1: Select your drug and dose by entering the full name or start typing to see a list of possible matches-search list will allow up to 25 drugs

A list appears as you begin to key the drug name, predicting the name based on the input so far. Be sure to select the correct drug dosage of the drug when you find it.

Step 3: Select the Refill frequency

Step 4: Enter quantity of the drug

Step 5: Click “Add Drug” to add it to the drug list

Package Drugs Quantity Reminders (example #1)

They system does not look at the information in the parenthesis when

doing the calculations. It uses the quantity that is located at the

beginning. In this example it is 0.5ML. So the system takes the

quantity entered in the quantity field and multiplies it times that 0.5ML

In this example……the user would enter a quantity of “1” if the customer receives “2” pens with each refill. The

system will take the quantity of “1” entered in the Quantity field and will multiply it by the “2” located at the

beginning of the package description to get the quantity to be used in

calculations.”

If the name keyed is not found on the Part D qualified drug listed, you will receive an error message.

If you wish to remove a drug from the list, click the red “X” to the right of the drug name. If you wish to modify any of the refill options for a drug in “Your Drug List”, click the blue link for the name of the drug.

Once drug list has been completed, click on the “continue” button to see if your drugs are covered for the Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans in that area.

Plan results shown here are for 3 Part D Plans and 1 Medicare Advantage Plan. User can click on the tab name to navigate between the product types to review costs and coverage for the different plans available in that service area. Page displays total number of drugs covered by the specific plan, along with the details of which drugs are covered or non covered and whether the drug is a brand name drug or generic. If the drug is a brand name and there are generic options available, there will be a generic options link displayed.

Plan Results-Savings The “Ways to Save” link is available for both MAPD and PDP plans and will show covered generic options for any (covered or non-covered) brand name drug added to the users drug list. It will also display Other Brand Options for Non-Preferred Brand name drugs that were added to the users list.

Use the “click here” link for direct access to the drug search screen to update the drug list.
