Dear SAL Lastname,

We want to help educators make an impact.

With Studies Weekly, teachers spend less time planning and more time with students. When students are emotionally engaged, their critical thinking skills thrive. As they learn how to make better decisions, they develop into responsible adults.

That’s the Learn to Live! difference.

Schools in all 50 states and more than 3,000 districts nationwide are making that difference with Studies Weekly. Research shows that students who use Studies Weekly score better on state tests than those who do not. With these social studies and science tools, educators today are improving their school districts for an even better tomorrow.

You can make that same impact on your district by using Studies Weekly. Attached is a catalog with additional information; feel free to contact us by phone or email with further questions.

Warmest regards,

Frantz BelotExecutive Vice President, Sales and Marketing [email protected]

The mock election also allows you to teach civic responsibility lessons in a meaningful way. Instead of simply learning about elections and government, students get to truly experience it in a hands-on way. This is the type of engaged learning that will stick with them for years to come.

It’s worked before In 2004, we hosted our first-ever mock election and 300,000 kids predicted the winner. The results were similar in 2008 when about 6 million students voted and accurately chose their president—again. Imagine the joy on students’ faces when they realized they had correctly chosen our president twice in a row.

Join us in making this election the third time in a row. Engage your students in the presidential election like never before. Watch them come to life as they learn, vote and get involved in one of the nation’s most important events.

Stay updated with current results On November 1, 2016, students all around the country will have access to the Election Day Data Stream. With live updates refreshing every 30 seconds, students can track the status of the election through a color-changing electoral college map. States will display as blue or red depending on the candidate with the most popular vote, along with a real-time tally of each state’s votes. The voting polls will officially close at 3 pm in each state’s respective time zone.

Ideally students should cast their vote on November 1, but if scheduling conflicts interfere, schools can get absentee voting access up to one week before the mock election.

Register today Let your students lead the way on November 1, 2016. Allow them to experience the power of voting by registering your school today. Gain immediate access to our online

curriculum with comprehensive lesson plans and interactive materials. Order your classroom election kit today for the complete Every Kid Votes! experience and even more resources.

This year Studies Weekly is inviting students nationwide to participate in the largest student mock presidential election in history! On November 1st, 2016 your lucky students will join millions of others to cast their votes.

Why a nationwide mock election? The children in your classroom will

be the leaders and decision-makers of the future. What better way to create tomorrow’s citizens than by engaging them in our nation’s future today? With the Every Kid Votes mock presidential election, students don’t have to wait till they’re 18 to make their voices heard. Boys and girls of every age can exercise their constitutional right to vote today.

When students are allowed to vote, their analytical abilities soar. As they learn about candidates’ platforms, kids begin to discover themselves and their personal values. When they identify with beliefs and philosophies, they develop into the educated, self-determined adults they were meant to become.
