MEMORIAL DAY INVITATIONAL

Dear Coaches and Skaters:

Sunrise Artistic Skate Club cordially invites you to participate in the 2016 California Memorial Day Invitational to be held May 27-30 2016 at Sunrise Rollerland in Citrus Heights, California. Our facility is located approximately ten (10) miles east of Sacramento and features a beautiful Northern Maple floor measuring 93' x 187'.

Gold Medal tests will also be conducted at the Memorial Day Invitational. For scheduling purposes, please submit the Gold Medal information with your entry. Gold Medal tests will also be available, if necessary, at the Southwest Regional Championships. Please use the same form for either site and return it with your entry.

Any "B" commissioned judges who would like to get some experience, may judge along with the "A" panel judges. A form is included to send in the names of your "B" judges and what days they will be available. You will also find the Entry Form, Tabulating Codes, and Event Requirements. Please provide us with an email address on the Entry Form so we may send the final schedule as soon as possible. Adhering to the postmark deadline of APRIL 19, 2016, will greatly help us in this endeavor. We will have the schedule available and e-mailed to you approximately May 4, 2016.

We are offering Super Tot Figures and Free skating for skaters 6 and under and an Olympic Figure event for Special Olympians. The figures for these two events will be 1 and 1B. We will also offer the Quartet and Precision events. Please use the proper tab codes on the attached list. Please use the “Pairs Column” for these event codes.

All USARS rules will be followed as outlined for the 2015-2016 season.

If there is a final, the 1st and 3rd figure or loop will be skated from the final requirements drawn on May 1, 2016.

Jr/JWC and World Class will skate the elimination loop and the first and last figures listed from the requirements drawn on May 1, 2016.

Supertot and Olympic figures are: 1 and 1B. In events with only 2 figures or loops, the elimination requirements will be skated from those drawn on May 1, 2016. If there is

a final, final requirements will be skated.
