Workshops
All workshop participants will receive 5 free drawing tickets for each workshop in which they participate.
Workshop 1-Bring Your Own Tree with Ed Trout $50 Saturday, November 5, 1-4 PM
Sign up early. This is a popular workshop that sells out quickly. The proceeds from this workshop go to the Arnold Palmer Children’s Cancer Center in memory of Ed Trout’s granddaughter.
Workshop 2-Green Island Ficus with Adam Lavigne $50 Sunday, November 6, 1-4 PM
Ten fat trunk, Kifu size trees have been selected for this workshop. There are numerous possibilities from banyan style to cascade. No one is a better expert that Adam Lavigne in working with these trees. Trees are chosen in the other you sign up. So sign up quickly.

Demonstrations All demonstrations are free. Anyone not participating in a workshop is invited to enjoy watching our artists create some beautiful trees and plantings. All material will become part of a special drawing. The drawing for the material will be held on Sunday at 3PM. You do not have to be present to win. Demonstration 1: Dorothy Schmitz, Justin Michael, Phil Krieg
Saturday, November 5, 9:30 AM. This demonstration features 3 outstanding artists creating a variety of Bonsai related material. Enjoy the fun watching these artists turn nursery material into the beginning of some specimen Bonsai.
Demonstration 2: Ernie Fernandez, Martha Goff
Saturday, November 5, 1:00 PM. Ernie Fernandez is probably one of the most experienced bonsai artists in Florida. He will be working on ____________________. Martha Goff will be creating a number of Kusamono plantings.
Demonstration 3: Adam Lavigne
Sunday, November 6, 9:00 AM. This demonstration features our headliner Adam Lavigne. Adam will have a major task taming a giant Green Island Ficus. The possibilities are limitless. This tree is a real prize.
Demonstration 4: Sue Johnson
Sunday, November 6, 3:00 PM.
Learn the fascinating and creative art of Keshiki Bonsai with Susan Johnson as she creates charming, magical bonsai.
