THANKS GIVING Montreal
"On behalf of the Sickle Cell Association of Quebec, it was an honour & a pleasure to have been
chosen as the recipients of last year’s Rip The Runway Montreal Fashion Show Fundraiser. Their
genuine dedication and understanding of this illness, as well as their mission to spread awareness
about this debilitating disease have far exceeded expectations. We appreciate their efforts,
professionalism and artistry! It was a magnificent show. We are proud to call the members of Fashion
For A Cause Montreal friends, and count ourselves blessed.
Simply put, genuine people who genuinely care. "
Delano George, Sickle Cell Anemia Association of Quebec

ABOUT
Fashion For A Cause Montreal is a non-profit association of
professionals creating awareness and raising funds to increase the
visibility of local and nationwide causes and charities, for greater impact in
the community.
Since its launch Thanksgiving 2012 as a high school/college fashion show
reunion in memory of their friend Keith Lewis of Keith & Karen
(philanthropist and pioneer of Montreal Entrainment), Rip The Runway
Montreal has doubled donation totals while entertaining, educating and
giving thanks every Thanksgiving with fashion, live performances and all white memorial. To date, they
have produced sold out events attracting: public figures, media, high level entertainment, and with a
cumulative attendance of 1600 and donations of over $18,500!
Charities and causes are chosen by the stories of survivors, and in memory of those that have passed
on. In addition, official donation campaigns are launched during each promotion campaign for those
unable to attend, and those looking to donate in addition to their ticket purchase. All ticket sales are
donated on behalf of Fashion For A Cause Montreal.

TRISTAN WILLIAMS MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS FOUNDATION
MS is an auto immune disease that affects the central nervous system, brain, spinal cord, and the optic
nerves in your eyes. It can cause problems with vision, balance, muscle control, and other basic body
functions. MS happens when the immune system attacks a fatty material called myelin, which wraps
around your nerve fibers to protect them. Without this outer shell, your nerves become damaged, and
the brain can no longer send signals through the body correctly, to help you to move and feel. The first
symptoms often start between ages 20 and 40. MS strikes 133 out of every 100,000 people in Canada.
