Force Majeure DTSisunabletoacceptliabilityorpaycompensationwheretheperformanceorpromptperformanceofourcontractualobligationispreventedoraffectedbyreasonofcircumstancesamountingtoforcemajeure(i.e.anyeventwhichweorthesupplier(s)oftheservice(s)couldnot,evenwithduecareforeseeoravoid).Sucheventsmayinclude,butarenotlimitedto,war,threatofwarorcivilcommotions,riots,terroristactivity,industrialdispute,naturalornucleardisaster,adverseweather,fire,flood,drought,governmentaction,airportandportregulationsandclosures,technicaltransportationproblems,maintenancetovessels,schedulingoftransportandsimilareventsoutsideourcontrol.

10. Travel Insurance DTSstronglyrecommendsthatyoutakeoutcomprehensivetravelinsuranceagainstthoserisksasmentionedinPoint1andotherrisks.TravelInsuranceshouldbeinforcefortheentiredurationofyourholiday,coveringatleastthecancellationofthebookingandprovidingmedicalcoverforillnessorinjuryandrepatriationwhileoverseas.YouwillreceiveabookingformrequestingyoutoprovideDTSwiththenameofyourinsurer,togetherwiththeir24-houremergencynumber.TravelInsurancecanbepurchasedthroughDiscoverTravelShop.

11. Amendments Shouldachangebemadebyyouafteryourinitialbookingrequesthasbeenconfirmedanddeposited,achargeof$100perpersonwillapplyforeachamendment.Anyotherfees/chargesimposeduponDTSbyoutsidesuppliers,willbeaddedtothis.Amendmentsrequestedwithin70daysofcruiseandtourdeparturewillincurapplicablecancellationpenaltiesasdetailedherein(refertopoint4and6).

12. Variations Intheeventofunusualorunforeseencircumstancesbeyondourcontrol,whichrequireDTStomakenecessarychangestoyourtravelarrangements,wereservetherighttocancelorrescheduledeparturesanditineraries.WhereitisnecessarytochangeahotelDTSreservestherighttosubstituteaccommodationofatleastasimilarstandard.

13. Single Travellersa) Pricesquotedinthisbrochureforcruiseextensionsareona

twinsharebasis.Ifyourbookingisnotatwinsharebookingwewilladviseyouoftheapplicablesinglesupplementatthetimeofconfirmation.
