FOOD PREPARATION and PREVENTION ofCONTAMINATION:
NZBC Clause G3 Food Preparation and Prevention of Contamination
• Utensil washing and food rinsing facilities shall have a sink with free draining surfaceswith continuous falls to the outlet;
• The sink shall be capable of fully containing a solid cylinder of 300mm diameter and125mm depth;
• Spaces for food preparation and utensil washing shall have: (a) Interior linings and work surfaces shall be impervious and easily cleaned, (b) All building elements constructed with materials which are free from hazardous substances which could cause contamination to the building contents
TIMBER TREATMENT:
• NZS 3602: 2003 - Timber to be treated in accordance with the hazard classificationas NZS 3640: 2003;
• This is a general timber treatment note and is structured to cover timber treatment inany situation
ACCESS ROUTES:
NZBC Clause D1
• An accessible route shall extend from the vehicle parking area to the personnel/principal entrance in to the building;• All walking surfaces to achieve a slip resistance coefficient as per D1/AS1 Table 2, min. 0.4
HEATING:

• Appliance & Type: ESCEA DX1000, Gas - wall/cavity mounted;• Flue: vertical 80-100mm Ø, to terminate 600mm min. above ridge line;• Hearth: The base of the appliance must be installed a min. of 100mm A.F.F.L;• Cylinder: Min. clearance to a drain or openings into the dwelling to be in accordance with NZS5261:2003 Gas Installation, Figure J4
