INTRODUCTION Cricket is Australia's favourite summer sport, a sport where whether

you're a fan of the game, a fan of sport or the average person walking

down the street you know how the boys in the 'Baggy Green' are

performing, you know the turmoil certain under-performing players are

under or how close we are to winning the latest test series.

We have all played the great game of cricket, whether it be at a

representative level, playing local cricket, or having that cracking game

of backyard or beach cricket.

And although all of our minds are now drifting away from the cricketing circle and we begin

to focus on our favourite football players pulling on their boots for another cracking season

of winter sport, or rushing out to fill out registration forms for our children to be kept active

and busy during the winter season the Young and Districts Cricket Association are already

busy preparing for the 2015/2016 cricketing season.

Society is changing, and no matter how hard any sporting association tries we are never

able to keep up with the ever changing society the Young and Districts Cricket Association

are trying to get ahead of the game and working towards locking in our sponsors for the

new season.

My name is Brendon Meynell and I have been given the great honour of organizing and

preparing the senior cricket competition here in Young, as well as the opportunity to help

rebuild our representative set up from the ground up - both of which I will be focusing on

over the coming months to ensure that by the time the first ball is ready to bowl in

September we, as an association are in the best position to develop, improve and enhance

the game of cricket in and around the Young region.

As such we have come up with a number of sponsorship opportunities that are not only

affordable for all businesses both in and around Young, but opportunities that provide

fantastic exposure for your business throughout the upcoming season.

Page 4: 2015/2016 Sponsorship Opportunities

Contained inside this small little booklet is a number of opportunities never before offered

by the Young and Districts Cricket Association, and the best thing about it is that you are

being given the first opportunity to secure your sponsorship for our competition.

Even better is that no money is required from you at this moment to secure your

sponsorship. We know that many of the businesses in Young have just pledged and made

their contributions towards the winter codes and as such are unprepared or not in a

position to depart with more cash for a competition that isn't starting for another six

months.

All that is required from you to secure your sponsorship is your commitment to the

sponsorship option that you wish to have for our upcoming season, with payment not

required until we head into our season in September.

The 2015/2016 cricket season is shaping up to be a massive season when it comes to

the Young and Districts Cricket Association, as we embark on a new era in cricket and work

towards putting Young on the map as we begin to build towards becoming one of the

leading rural cricket associations in New South Wales.

We thank you for your time in taking just a few quick minutes to review the opportunities

that are available, and hope that after further discussions we will be welcoming you as part

of our cricketing community.

SCOREBOARD SPONSORSHIP One of the most important aspects of the game of

cricket is the score, and what better way to advertise

your business than becoming a Young and Districts

Cricket Association Scoreboard Sponsor.

The brand new large digital scoreboard will be used

for our T20 Semi and Grand Finals, our One Day Cup

final and for all of our home representative matches.

The 195cm x 110cm Digital Scoreboard features two

sponsor positions at the top, which makes it prime

position to be viewable by players, supporters and

media coverage a like.

With only two positions available these are highly sought after advertising locations to

display and advertise your business to local and out of town players, supporters and media.

The electronic scoreboard keeps track of both teams innings, and will be a vocal point in

any batting run chase.
