Bradford College, Great Horton Road, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD7 1AY

Opening in September 2015, the Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) aims to be a leading centre in providing unique, high quality, cutting edge courses in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Whether you are an adult who wants qualifications to enter Higher Education or you are a young person who wants an alternative to staying on at school to prepare you for a successful pathway to university and a specialist career, we offer a dynamic, innovative portfolio of high quality courses grounded in the world of work.

The ATC will play an important role in the future prosperity of the region, providing curriculum and training that will develop skills in shortage areas and increase employability.

The ATC will also support advanced technology and manufacturing businesses to meet the future skills needs of their industries and ensure international competitiveness. The specialist equipment will further enhance the work readiness of students; upskill existing workers; and facilitate research and development, ensuring that Bradford and the Leeds City Region has a highly skilled workforce. This will attract future inward investment and growth by enabling SMEs to explore the use of cutting edge technologies to enable them to consider how best to build competitive advantage.
