Special thankS to our 2014/15 SponSorS
Dear SeaSon SuBScriBerS
I wish to thank each of you for your continued support of CenterStage and for making our 100th anniversary season the most successful to date. Our main stage shows are reaching near capacity. CenterStage Acting Out continues to open minds of school children every day. Our innovative special events and partnerships are enriching the Louisville community. CenterStage Academy is nurturing more students each session. All in all, CenterStage has proven itself to be a leader by setting the bar high and raising it with each production.
The words on the cover of this season’s brochure are the emotions evoked by our productions and, in the case of the 2015/16 season, representative of the productions themselves. With careful consideration of our audience, our company, and our production team, the CenterStage Board and I set out to select the perfect combination of new, classic, comedic, dramatic, family-oriented, and contemporary musicals that provide diversity for you and our community. As you read about the seven, award winning, Broadway, smash-hits chosen, I think you’ll agree we did just that.
After spending this past season honoring CenterStage’s rich history, I am excited to shift the focus to CenterStage’s future. When thinking about the future, I know I do not have all the answers. However, one thing is very clear. Each of you played a vital role in building CenterStage into what it is today and I need each of you to help shape the future. The next 3-5 years promise to be very important and very exciting. Join me on the next phase of this journey.
Looking to the Future,
John R. Leffert, CenterStage Artistic Director

It’s just another day at the office in this
Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize classic. A musical satire about big business,
How To Succeed follows the rise of window washer, J. Pierrepont Finch, as he sings and dances his way up the corporate ladder, tackling such potent dangers as the “company man,” backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and the most difficult of all, true love. Winning over audiences or more than 53 years, How to
Succeed proves that power, sex, ambition and greed never go out of style.
