Never did I think that my life’s journey would bring me to own a company based in Rwanda. But sometimes life’s plans are taken on a different course simply because of the people that you meet and the stories they tell you. If you allow people to touch your heart in a certain way it changes you forever. Nine years ago this happened to me, I was so deeply affected by the lives and stories of the HIV+ women who had survived the Rwandan Genocide. I felt so compelled to offer them a hand up not a handout, and to shed light on their powerful journey towards reconciliation.

With your help, women are now lifting themselves out of poverty. Each piece of jewelry acts as a ribbon to the courageous artisan who made it. When you wear the jewelry you are promoting change, alleviating poverty, and empowering women living a world away. Not only will you look beautiful, you will also beconnected to other likeminded people who want to change the world by the way they shop.

P r O D U C T D e S C r I P T I O N S

Infinity Hoop Earrings are handcrafted by women artisans in Rwanda. Fine plated glass beads are delicately crocheted around sterling silver hoops. Available in pierced only.

Faith Cuff Links are hand-crocheted in Rwanda with fine glass beads on sterling silver T-bars. Barrels: 7/8” x 2.2 cm. Squares: 3/4” x 3/4”.

Benefit Bracelets are handmade in the USA. The pilot line features glass seed bead bracelets sold in sets of three with plated beads and metallic hang tags. Each bracelet is strung on a sturdy stretch chord. Sets are sold as one size fits all. SAME SKY America empowers women by providing training and employment opportunities.

Prosperity/ Fresh Bracelets are intricately crocheted in Rwanda and made of delicate seed beads on a semi-stretch cord. They are approximately 1/2 inch thick and 8 inches in diameter, best fitting wrist sizes 6.5 to 8.5 inches in diameter---sold as one size fits all and roll over the hand for easy wear and comfort. Express your style and create new looks by stacking various colors and patterns!

Faith Earrings are hand-crocheted by women artisans in Rwanda. Using the Peyote stitch, they are crafted with fine glass seed beads onto pierced earring posts or clip-on posts (both available). Measurements: 3/4” x 3/4”.

Fabric Wraps are hand-woven by women artisans in Rwanda. Due to the intricacy of the workmanship, fabric wraps are uniquely crafted and adorned with hand blown glass beads. Long Wraps: 6 beads, 35-38”; loops 4-6 times around wrists. Short Wraps: 4 beads, 15”; loops twice around wrists. The closure is made of two glass beads that secure into a braided loophole for a custom fit.

Infinity Twist Earrings are hand-crocheted by women artisans in Rwanda. They are crafted with hammered glass seed beads and woven onto a pierced earring post. They measure approximately 1.5” long and 3/4” in diameter.

Men’s Honor Wraps are handmade in the USA. Each bracelet features black glass beads with a natural stone and hematite closure and is strung on a 16” stretch chord that comfortably wraps twice around the wrist.

Bond Bracelets are handmade by women artisans in Rwanda. These lightweight bracelets are crocheted with petite glass beads and roll over the hand for easy wear and comfort. One standard size.
