GEP has developed a unique filter shaft which applies to all plastic tanks but also to GEP concrete tanks. 15 years of experience has allowed GEP to develop the unique Varitank filter shaft with the following features and advantages.1. The shafts slide over each other and are connected with a rubber sealing ring to provide an optimal closure. An easy, time-saving and water tight solution. This system prevents the usage of sealants, welds or masonry mortar2. It is possible to rotate solely the shaft which means that less connection pieces are required.3. The sawable and telescopic shafts will reduce your costs immediately due to the lower labour intensity. Masonry is no longer required these days! The shafts can be sawed or raised in an instance.4. The upper shaft is telescopic compared to the inner shaft. This allows precise installation of the cover equal to the ground level. This can also be done in a later stage when the garden is finished. This also reducs the required connection pieces and thus money and time.5. The shafts are expandable with extra connections which can be installed fast and easy.6. The cover set is rotatable in relation to the shaft and tank. This allows perfect installation with regards to the joints. The cover can be placed slightly tilted to allow perfect installation on a slope.

In short: the shafts and covers are telescopic, cuttable, rotatable and extendable. The wide assortment of covers which fit on these shafts allow a (child)safe and “invisible” covering.

Different Varitank models for different roof surfaces

GEP Varitank Cover set, class A walkable, child safe.The plastic class A cover is walkable and provided with an anti-slip profile. The cover is round, isolating and provided with child proof locks. The cover is provided with a 20 cm telescopic shaft and sealing ring.

GEP Varitank Cover set, light traffic resistible, child safe.The plastic cover resists light traffic with a wheel load of 600 kg. The cover is round and is provided with an anti-slip profile. The cover is provided with child proof locks. The cover is provided with a 20 cm telescopic shaft and sealing ring.

GEP Varitank Cover set, Class B traffic resistible, child safe.The plastic class B cover is traffic class B resistible (passenger car) and is provided with an anti-slip profile. The cover is square and fits into a square frame. This allows easy, fast and beautiful paving. The cover is provided with a 20 cm telescopic shaft and sealing ring.

The inner frame has space for a drainage plate, geotextile and grass. The cover is included with a 20 cm telescopic shaft, sealing ring, drainage plate and geotextile.

The inner frame has space for tiles or bricks of max. 10 cm thick. Paving around the square frame is fast, easy and beautiful. The cover is included with a 20 cm telescopic shaft and sealing ring.

GEP Varitank Cover set, Class D cover.The cast iron class D cover resists heavy traffic. The cast iron cover is round and fits into a square frame. This square outer frame has a concrete foundation which can be installed into the pavement.

GEP Varitank Cover set, Twincover, child safe.The plastic class A cover is walkable and provided with an anti-slip profile. The cover is round, isolating and provided with child proof locks. The cover is provided with a small lid in which 2 gardena connections with taps are located. Ideal as a garden system. The cover is delived with a 20 cm telescopic shaft and sealing ring.

GEP Varitank Cover set, Construction site cover.The plastic cover is square and walkable. This cover works as a semi-perminent cover for warf activities to prevent accidents and to prevent dirt from entering the tank. The cover is included with a 20 cm telescopic shaft and sealing ring.
