The 2015 season holds special importance for our company as Winston® Contract’s signature commercial furniture brand- Texacraft®- celebrates its 40th anniversary in manufacturing. Production started in Houston, Texas, in the garage over a one bedroom apartment of then-owner, Jerry Rega. What began in autumn of 1975 as Jerry Rega and Company would lay the foundation in building the brand Texacraft®. At the time, simple tubular frames with vinyl strapping were the order of the day. Even though the offering was initially small, the quality of the products, along with superior customer service, kept customers happy and returning for reorders. Over the forty years of manufacturing, the product line has expanded to include furnishings ranging from extruded aluminum to cast aluminum to site furnishings to umbrellas and more. Today, the Texacraft® brand remains one of the most prolific names in the commercial/contract industry, especially in the multi-family housing market.

Texacraft® was purchased by Winston® Furniture Company in September 1994. With this purchase, along with other acquisitions, Texacraft® was able to tap into synergies from sister companies. These synergies provided many new manufacturing opportunities for Texacraft® to expand its product offering. With such a diverse product line, the Texacraft® brand has become a one-stop source for many specifiers and designers. Its market still includes multi-family housing but has expanded to include hospitality, government, country clubs, cruise lines, casinos and others. And through all the changes and decades of evolution many employees from the seventies are still loyal employees of Texacraft®, including Jerry, President of Texacraft®.

Oyster Weave - Having the look and feel of real wicker, this proprietary weave creation was the result of dedicated time and effort. The material is a mix of polyethylene and UV inhibitors with no acrylic additives. Both the texture and coloration are achieved from the hands of an extrusion artist who intuitively adds the correct amount of pigment to the weave during precise temperature intervals in the production process. The weave coloration is infused throughout the core of the weave. The result is a beautiful, natural weathered weave material. All pieces of Coeur d'Alene are hand woven, strand by strand, by highly skilled artists. One chair can take more than a day to weave.

The natural patina will vary from area to area and piece to piece. Just prior to being packaged, a light coat of paste wax is applied. InstallationThis furniture is made EXCLUSIVELY for in-pool use. The Contour In-Pool Lounger is designed for use in up to 9" of water depth.

The Contour In-Pool Lounger weighs only 34 lbs. When you receive it, you will submerge it in your pool, fill it completely with water then, pull it on to the ledge. Once in place, weighing over 100 lbs, the Contour In-Pool Lounger will stay put and shouldn’t need to be moved except for season storage. Clean it in place with common household cleaners. Removing them from the pool is not necessary but if desired the Contour In-Pool Lounger is easily stackable.

Suncreens are semi-permanent structures that are durable and can withstand harsh weather conditions. As with any non-permanent umbrella, awning or shade structure, they will need to be taken down when winds reach unsafe conditions. For areas that receive snow,

we recommend to remove and store the Suncreens in a dry, safe, protected environment.

FABRIC DESCRIPTIONS AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONSWoven Vinyl FabricsWoven Vinyl fabrics are made from Weather Weave, an open weave, vinyl-coated, polyester fiber fabric. Weather Weave is similar to the material used in tire cord, bonded so it will not unravel if cut. Especially designed for outdoor use, Weather Weave dries quickly and can be left out in any kind of weather. Ultraviolet stabilizers have been added to inhibit fading, deterioration and mildew. Weather Weave fabric cushions will provide many years of outdoor pleasure.

Mix three gallons of warm water with one cup of household bleach and one cup mild laundry detergent. Apply with soft brush or cloth and rinse well. DO NOT USE SOLVENT-TYPE MATERIALS, THEY WILL DAMAGE THE YARNS.

Woven Blend FabricsWoven Blend is a blend of polyester and solution-dyed acrylic that has a soft hand and dries quickly when saturated with water. They are very useful as an umbrella fabric, and provide excellent sun blocking protection.Wash with a solution of soap or mild detergent and warm water. Sponge thoroughly with water and allow to air dry. For more stubborn stains, mix three gallons of warm water with one cup of household bleach and one cup of mild laundry detergent.. DO NOT USE SOLVENT-TYPE MATERIALS, THEY WILL DAMAGE THE YARNS.

Ultra Woven Blend FabricsUltra Woven Blend has twice the vertical yarns as Woven Blends, offering richer, more vibrant patterns and colors. They are useful as an umbrella fabric as well and provide excellent sunblocking protection. Wash with a solution of soap or mild detergent and warm water. Sponge thoroughly with water and allow to air dry. For more stubborn stains, mix three gallons of warm water with one cup of household bleach and one cup of mild laundry detergent.. Woven Acrylic Poly FabricWoven blend of polyester and 100% solution dyed acrylic which provides a soft hand. Attractive features include inherent durability, long term UV resistance and ease of clean up. Recommended for both indoor and outdoor use.

• Fine outdoor furniture deserves exceptional care. Winston furniture can be enjoyed for many years when well maintained. Wash the furniture with a solution of mild detergent and water, rinse with clear water and dry thoroughly. A clear automobile wax can be applied to smooth frame finishes to provide better protection against harmful ultraviolet exposure and salt air. DO NOT use any kind of wax, abrasive materials or strong detergents on Select finishes.• To vinyl, strap and sling seating surfaces, apply a quality vinyl protectant to guard against the effects of air pollution, salt air build-up, and mildew growth. Wash outdoor cushions with a solution of mild detergent and water and thoroughly rinse with clear water. Allow cushions to air dry completely.• For best protection, perform this maintenance two to three times a year, although these durable materials can be safely cleaned as often as desired.• Light stains can be removed with a solution of mild detergent and water, rinsed with clear water and dried thoroughly. Mildew and heavy stains can be removed with a quality commercial outdoor furniture cleaner and protectant. • Note: Some suntan and sun block products may be harmful to cushions, sling and vinyl and straps. Do not allow such products to come in contact with any seating surfaces to avoid deep penetrating stains, which are not covered under warranty.• Do not steam or use water at temperatures above 100°F when washing.• Note: Be careful to keep the cleaner from contact with the cushions of your furniture, as it will cause discoloration. Do not use bleach on printed acrylic fabrics. Do not use solvent-type materials on woven vinyl, woven blend or ultra woven blend fabrics as they will damage the yarns.
