Ignite, Inspire, Innovate!Over the next few years, student access to devices will increase, bringing with it, the opportunity for technology to serve as a vehicle to enhance quality instruction and achievement.

Three strands of digital learning courses are available. To provide hands-on opportunities and individualized support many of these courses are limited to 25 participants. Due to high demand, kindly remove yourself from courses for which you have registered but are unable to attend. This allows other educators to attend. Note the new 5 minute rule for technology courses.

Definitions for Digital Learning strands:

Foundational Digital Learning Courses - applicable to ALL teachers regardless of device availability.  Courses are focused on topics that work for a one-computer classroom or a 1:1 environment.  Foundational tools such as Canvas and classroom management are included in this section.

Integrated Digital Learning Courses - applicable to ALL teachers regardless of device availability.  Courses are focused on exposing all teachers to the classroom of the future and to give them experiences exploring digital learning philosophy, as well as Apple TVs, AirDrop, and other emerging district-wide tools.

Digital Learning Courses with 1:1 environment - specifically geared towards teachers who are in a 1:1 school, high school teachers (who will be 1:1 in the fall), part of the digital pilot group, part of the ACT program, or have a dedicated cart in their room.

5 MINUTE Rule for Digital Learning Courses

In order to fairly accommodate all hands-on workshop and summer institute participants, the five-minute rule will apply. The five-minute rule states you must be in your seat within five-minutes from the beginning of the workshop for which you are registered, or you will lose your seat. It will then be open to other attendees.
