    Items you will need to bring to the camp:

    Shirts, shorts, pants, sweaters for the duration of the camp

    Thick sweaters, or light jacket for the colder nights.

    Rain jacket Hats Socks and underwear for the duration of the camp

    (BRING EXTRA SOCKS)

    Running shoes, hiking shoes, flip flops (MUST HAVE A PAIR OF INDOOR SHOES FOR INSIDE THE LODGE)

    Towels Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and shampoo Swim suits Sun screen, bug spray Sun glasses Sleeping bag, pillow (bunks with mat will be

    provided)

    Flashlight with extra batteries Notebook, colored pens Garbage bag for change Reusable water bottle Medication: Parents are required to provide their

    kids with their medication along with instructions and labels with the amount and frequency for the dose. Please inform the OLOL camp Executive Crew so they can ensure the medication is given as requested.

    Items you cannot bring to the camp: No Valuables No Cell phones or any electronic devices No chocolate, sweets, candy or chips No alcohol, tobacco, or any other illegal items

    listed in the Rules and Regulations on the right hand side N.B. If found, these items will be confiscated. Zero tolerance procedure will be followed.

    Rules and Regulations:

    o There will no cell phones allowed at the camp. o Bags will be checked upon arrival o In case of emergency please contact

    o Drinking water is available at the camp site and is tested regularly to ensure it meets the ministry of health and environment standards. Therefore every camp member must bring a reusable water bottle which they will use throughout the week and no plastic water bottles will be permitted due to environmental and waste issues.

    o The camp site has set quiet time from 10 pm 7 am, where no noise or disruption can be made

    o Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and surrounding areas and around any of the youth members as outlined in Scouts Canada regulations (Duty of Care Section 7001-10)

    o The Scouts Canada campsite holds us responsible for any damage on the camp grounds or in buildings. We must ensure the camp site stays clean at all times with no damages occurring or else the individual will be held responsible. We must keep the camp ground clean, neat and in good shape

    o Every child must bring indoor shoes that must be worn when entering the lodge to prevent any mud or dirt to accumulate in the sleeping area

    o There is no alcohol or illicit drugs allowed at the camp or any other illegal items as per scouts Canada regulations and legal by-laws (By law, policies, procedures, section 1010 and 7001.9)

    o No firearms, lethal weapons or knives are allowed to be in possession of any of the camp members

    o Any camp member may be subject to a search of his/her bag in the case that the leaders suspect that any of the illegal items are in the possession of the camp member

    o There will be no visitors allowed throughout the camp at the campsite, and therefore no public bonfire for the families due to Scouts Canada rules and regulations
