The Buffalo Jamaica Innovation En-terprise (BJIE) will lead to a Center for Infectious Diseases Research in Kingston Jamaica – a collaboration between SUNY, UB, and the Uni-versity of the West Indies. Trustees Lewin and Brown helped launch the Enterprise in Buffalo in July.

The men’s basketball team at Corning Community College won a conference championship for the first time in 10 years; the softball team won their second straight; and the bowling team captured the NJCAA doubles championship.

The College at Brockport men’s outdoor track team reached the highest ranking in school history; the women’s gymnastics team finished fourth at the NGCA championships; and the women’s volleyball team earned their first SUNYAC championship in 21 years.

The Onondaga Community College men’s lacrosse team won its 7th consecutive national title, and the women’s team finished second. All 15 of the college’s teams ad-vanced to the post season.

The Monroe Community College women’s lacrosse team won its third consecutive NJCAA title and nine teams won Region III championships.
