Most of the children we serve lack the funds to purchase meat, fruits and vegetables. as a result, the children’s diets lack essential vitamins and nutrients. Your gift will provide a child with balanced and nutritious meals for a month, supporting their growth, health and development.

Mario remembers the day he and his sister arrived at the children’s home. for years after, he felt the pain of his mother’s absence. Bitterness took deep root in his heart until he experienced the presence and forgiveness of god. it wasn’t until a youth retreat where he saw his need for a relationship with god. Back2Back staff shared with him about the transformative power of real healing in his heart. Mario began to understand if god could forgive him, then he needed to forgive his mother. today, he has reconciled with his mother and serves cross-culturally sharing with children the same hope god extended to him. through opportunities for spiritual growth, such as discipleship, retreats, and Bible study, Back2Back is committed to helping each child encounter god and grow in relationship with him.

She flourishes under her new daily routine, which meets her need for stability. She is beginning to find her place in the world. through the support of Back2Back and attentive caregivers, Mariya is continually growing in her emotional development.

fourteen year old Jeny lives in Mexico with her mom and six siblings. as a partnership between her family and Back2Back grew, Jeny enrolled in school, learned to read and made friends her age. Back2Back provides for her social needs through field trips, retreats, community outings and partnerships with local church youth groups for peer mentorship.
