Overachiever is an understatement.At Honda, we’re always looking for ways to do more. Well, the 2015 CR-V is no exception. This year, we’ve upped its functionality by adding tech features like the available Display Audio System1 with HondaLink™1,2 Next Generation and by introducing available Honda Sensing™ technologies that include features like the Collision Mitigation Braking System™1,3 (CMBS®) and Adaptive Cruise Control1 (ACC). Overall, we’ve designed the CR-V with greater efficiency in mind, including the addition of the Direct Injection Earth Dreams™ engine and the continuously variable transmission (CVT). Sticking with tradition, versatility remains a cornerstone of the CR-V, with features such as the easy fold-down 60/40 split rear seatback, available power tailgate and low cargo floor. And, finally, the restyled exterior is smart and tough, instilling confidence into anyone who gets behind the wheel. For the CR-V, 2015 truly is the year of “more.”

Controlled braking

To help with safe stopping, the 4-wheel Anti- lock Braking System1 (ABS) is designed to help you maintain control under hard braking conditions, while Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) helps to optimize braking power based on weight distribution inside the vehicle. Further, Brake Assist is engineered to help improve braking performance by applying full brake pressure when a panic stop is detected.

Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA®) with Traction ControlVehicle Stability Assist1 with Traction Control is designed to sense and help correct oversteer and understeer scenarios to enhance handling and cornering stability, while Traction Control is designed to minimize wheel spin when accelerating on loose or slippery surfaces, helping to inspire greater driver confidence.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)For enhanced safety and fuel efficiency, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System2 continually checks the air pressure in each tire. If pressure drops in any one tire, the driver receives a dashboard alert.

Hill Start Assist1

When you take your foot off the brake, this feature is engineered to temporarily maintain brake pressure to help prevent your CR-V from rolling backwards when stopped on an incline.
