DESCRIPTION
The 5th annual Coastal Classic is a must for your pre-season tournament calendar. Played on some of North San Diego’s finest soccer facilities, the tournament provides great soccer competition and great organization, all with an ocean breeze. What better place to spend a weekend than beautiful Carlsbad, CA, with great beaches, shopping and dining, and some of the best soccer around. In 2014 we had teams participating from all over Southern California and 2015 promises to be an even bigger and better tournament, with expanded ages up to U19, and more clubs committed to entering the tournament. Welcome to the City of Carlsbad, and the 5th annual Carlsbad Coastal Classic hosted by Carlsbad United F.C.
Along with the fantastic competition that the Coastal Classic is known for, we hope our beautiful climate,attractions, fine hotels, restaurants and shopping will make this weekend a summer highlight for your teams andtheir families.
While you are enjoying the tournament, we hope you will find time to take advantage of the dining andentertainment offered by our beautiful coastal city.

We are strongly encouraging all coaches, team managers, parents, and players to tag uploaded social media content (pictures & video) taken at the 2015 Coastal Classic using the hashtag #CoastalClassic
We are also encouraging all coaches, team managers, parents, and players to email media content (pictures & video) of their experience at the Carlsbad Cup to: [email protected] and they will be put straight up on our Coastal Classic Facebook Page. The content can be anything from game action shots to a team enjoying some beach time. We don't mind the content, get creative!

For those teams planning to join us from outside the area, Carlsbad is recognized as one ofsouthern California’s most temperate and beautiful coastal towns with access to some of thefinest beaches in the state. In addition, you’re only minutes from San Diego attractions such asLegoland, the world famous San Diego Zoo, and SeaWorld as well as plenty of great shoppingat the Carlsbad Outlet Mall and nearby Del Mar and La Jolla. Two world-class resorts, The FourSeasons at Aviara and The Omni La Costa Resort and Spa are also located close to most fieldsites. Baseball fan? Carlsbad United F.C. is proud to host the 7th annual ‘Premier Cup’ competitive soccer tournament for both boys & girls teams aged U8 to U14. The tournament will be played over the weekend of January 16-18, 2016, acting as the perfect warm-up tournament in terms of facilities, standard, and time frame for the various State Cups.
Games will be played on our state of the art, floodlit, excellent fields, all located within 10 minutes of each other in the Carlsbad area.
