Meetings with Members of Parliament Security Protocol for Parliament Hill AppointmentsYou must arrive at the appropriate building 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, and check-in with security.

Much like airport security, you will be required to show photo identification, go through a metal detector, and your belongings will be scanned. Security will then contact the Member of Parliament’s office, and you will be either directed to their office or asked to wait for the Member’s staff to meet and escort you to their office.

If you have a second appointment and it is in the same building you must return to security between appointments, they will contact the appropriate Member’s office and announce your arrival.

If you have a second appointment in a different building, you will be required to go through the full security process again.

Recontre avec les députés fédérauxMesures de sécurité pour les rencontres sur la Colline parlementaireVous devez arriver à l’édifice approprié au moins 15 minutes avant l’heure de votre rendez-vous et vous devez vous présenter au comptoir de sécurité.

Si vous avez une deuxième rencontre dans le même édifice, vous devez retourner au comptoir de sécurité pour qu’un agent puisse aviser le bureau du député concerné et annoncer votre arrivée.

Si vous avez une deuxième rencontre dans un autre édifice, il vous faudra recommencer toute la procédure de sécurité.
