Welcome to the 33rd annual Prestigious NILE Red Angus sale!

Every year the Prestigious NILE Red Angus sale is a special event. This years event is even more so as it is being held with the National Show. It is with great pride that we bring you an incredible set of Red Angus genetics we feel are second to none for this offering. The genetics represented in the following lots come from the extreme top of some of the most influential Red Angus breeders in the world. Each summer in July we make a selection tour around the country to select cattle for this grand event. Imagine if you can the dedication from these breeders to allow us to come into their herds and select from the very top end of many years of hard work and genetic selections. It is very humbling to be the first one through the pastures and be given free rein to pick what we want to have consigned to the Prestigious NILE sale. You will find many different genetic lines of which we believe will suit about any breeding program out there. I encourage you to study the catalog and lots being offered in depth to find the genetics that will work for you in your own breeding program. If you have any questions pertaining to the lots listed within this catalog, I encourage you to call the consignors directly or myself. We will be more than happy to help you in any way we possibly can. The consignors information is listed with each of their lots and my information along with all of our sale staff is listed in the front of this catalog. While I certainly would encourage you to attend this event in person if at all possible, I also understand it may not be possible. If you can’t attend the sale, you can certainly contact myself or our buyer representative, Matt Riggan from the Red Cow Relocators staff. We will do all we can to help you with absentee purchases. And as always, all absentee bids will be held in the strictest of confidence as you have come to expect from us. This sale is also being broadcast on LiveAuctionsTV for buyers convenience and there will also be a conference call available as well. As with any sale we manage, we will have a trailer in tow with us and be glad to help get cattle to at the least a central location on our way home from this event. This open heifer comes from the heart of Laubach’s herd. We tried to select a heifer that would give calving ease plus growth, this heifer represents us very well. Ken started our herd with Marias breeding which is on the dam side and on the top Side you have Fischer’s Oscar, which comes from the Ole Oscar line and we all know what that pedigree means. We hope the lucky winner will be satisfied with this heifer as she is a true winner. This may very well be one of my favorite Epic daughters that I have seen in my travels. She is deep bodied with excellent muscle design and shape and still pretty enough to be easy on the eyes. Take special notice of her depth of flank and through the heart as well. Her dam is a Cherokee Canyon daughter going back to the Lakota cow family as well. Certainly a stacked pedigree from top to bottom from a program known for its females.
