Why PTA Reflections?
• It positively recognizes nearly 300,000 students each year for their participation and achievement across all artistic disciplines and brings together over 8,000 school-communities in celebration of arts education.
• It encourages creativity in the classroom and at home by serving as a
platform for advocating for more arts education. • It cultivates new PTA members, leaders and PTA Units by engaging with
families, teachers, school leaders and community and media partners.
• It brings families together through the exploration of the theme and cultural heritage.
The Reflections Network is a multi-layer community comprised of thousands of local, council, district, region and state volunteers focused on support for arts education and cultural exploration.
This is primarily accomplished through the National PTA Reflections Arts program in 53 state congresses and 8000 Local PTA Units.
