Budget Support: Library Renovation The POBJFK HS Library is going into

its final year of a three year renovation plan.

We added one additional computer lab for classes, one for individual student usage, and a Z-Space lab.

We relocated the Women’s Center, the Holocaust/Genocide Museum, as well as the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog), to utilize space better within the Library

The loft area now houses books and comfortable seating for quiet reading and studying.

Additional seating is supported in this budget

We now project the Library website throughout the day

Our Library is now a full-service, 21st

century Technology Center

Budget Supports Continued professional development experiences for

teachers to provide greater support for Common Core instruction and improved student achievement on standardized exams

Continued support for overnight educational opportunities for students, like the College Road Trip.

Preserve support for the arts, athletics, robotics, research, and all the other extra-curricular programs already in place at POBJFK, which make our school so outstanding

Support and enrich personal technology opportunities in the classroom (BYOD) via staff development workshops for teachers.
