EXPERIENCE Chairman and CEO of Tratos Ltd (June 2013 – Present)- United Kingdom
∙ Responsible for the Management, Research and Development of Tratos Ltd, the UK extension of Tratos Group, a European manufacturer of cables with offices in 5 continents. Responsibilities include the liaison of the various branches and the unifying of office and factory staff, along with the further development of the company’s presence worldwide.
∙ Received a grant of almost £3m - the largest grant amount awarded in Merseyside - from the Regional Growth Fund; in order to invest and strengthen Tratos Ltd and protect and potentially create further jobs in the area – one of the most deprived local authorities in the UK.
∙ Welcomed Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg to the Knowsley facility to view the Merseyside centre of excellence.
∙ Accepted on behalf of Tratos Ltd a Chrysalis Fund Loan of £3.5m to enable the redevelopment and expansion of our Knowsley facilities, consequently creating 100 jobs in the process.
∙ Accepted the Industrial Investment award for the UK-Italy Business Awards; recognising Tratos’ development.

∙ Gained a Master in Law at the University of Pisa. The university was officially established in 1343, although a number of scholars claim its origin dates back to the 11th century. The earliest evidence of a Pisan “Studium” dates to 1338, when the renowned jurist Ranieri Arsendi transferred to Pisa from Bologna. He along with Bartolo Da Sassoferrato, a lecturer in Civil Law, were paid by the Municipality to teach public lessons. Galileo Galilei, who was born and studied in Pisa, became professor of Mathematics at the Pisan Studium in 1589.
